Games developers TOHO and Edelweiss have unveiled their upcoming rice farming simulation RPG titled “Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan.” This engaging game, developed by G2 Studios, is scheduled for release on Android, iOS, and PC devices. The game’s unique feature includes item-based microtransactions, as it won’t be a traditional premium title.

I’m eager to witness the ongoing expansion of the Sakuna series, particularly following the triumph of “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin,” which uniquely combines farm tools for combat and power-ups through rice farming. In case you weren’t aware, this intellectual property was initially introduced in 2020 as an ARPG simulation game.

Sakuna returns with a new ally and a new look

In this update, a fresh character named Hinuka has been introduced to the team, lent her voice by Machico. Meanwhile, Naomi Oozora reprises her role as Sakuna. Although Sakuna sports a brand-new outfit and Hinuka is finally unveiled, the developers have kept most other details under wraps for now.
