Brunson Green, involved as an executive producer, has hinted at what’s ahead for the project. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he shared: “We’ve added a lot more humor this time around. I believe it will appeal to a broader range of viewers beyond just the usual fanbase of the Hoover universe.

Flavia Viotti, another EP, commented: “We aim to stay true to the original book, given Colleen Hoover’s dedicated fanbase. We don’t intend to let them down. In fact, I believe they won’t be disappointed.

Following closely behind the 2024 drama “It Ends with Us,” starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, comes “Regretting You.” This is one of the three upcoming film adaptations based on the works of author Colleen Hoover.

After the movie’s debut in October, audiences can anticipate two upcoming films: “Reminders of Him” starring Maika Monroe and Tyriq Withers, and “Verity” featuring Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway, and Josh Hartnett.

Based on the 2022 title-matching novel, the story Reminders of Him revolves around Kenna Rowan’s journey toward atonement as she searches for reconciliation.

Kenna Rowan, who spent five years in prison due to a regrettable error, goes back to the town where her past mistakes occurred, seeking to reunite with her four-year-old child. However, the relationships Kenna damaged are proving difficult to repair. Regardless of how diligently she strives to demonstrate her worth, everyone connected with her daughter is adamant about keeping Kenna at bay.

Regretting You will land in UK cinemas on 24 October 2025.
