Game developers TOHO Games and Edelweiss have unveiled their upcoming rice farming simulation role-playing game titled “Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan”. This game, developed by G2 Studios, is scheduled for release on Android, iOS, and PC platforms. Notably, the game will include in-item transactions instead of being a premium title.

I’m genuinely thrilled to watch the progress of the Sakuna series unfold, particularly following the triumph of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, a game that allows players to employ farm tools in combat and enhance through rice farming. For those unaware, this intellectual property originated from an ARPG simulator released in 2020.

Sakuna returns with a new ally and a new look

In this instance, a fresh character named Hinuka has been added to the lineup, with voice acting provided by Machico. Meanwhile, Naomi Oozora reprises her role as Sakuna. However, the developers have not disclosed many details beyond Sakuna’s updated attire and the introduction of Hinuka.
