In July 2025, the mobile gaming industry showcased its recognizable but swiftly evolving terrain, as the previous month’s rankings indicated. To provide clarity on the publishers that dominated downloads and revenue during this period, let me offer a summary of their achievements.

Top Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for July 2025

It’s no shock anymore, I find myself consistently impressed by the dominance of Azur Games at the summit of the download charts, boasting an impressive 113.6 million installs, a testament to the allure of their hyper-casual collection. BabyBus has been steadily climbing, now securing the runner-up spot with 92.2 million installs, while Miniclip isn’t far behind with a strong 87.7 million.

Voodoo maintained its position at fourth place with approximately 71.8 million app downloads, whereas Outfit7, famous for its Talking Tom series, secured fifth position with nearly 70 million downloads. Supercent and SayGames held their ground in the mid-tier, each recording more than 60 million installations, while Supersonic Studios and CrazyLabs concluded the top Israeli representatives in the top 10 list.

Tencent Games re-entered the top 10 most installed mobile game companies, with approximately 38.6 million installs, slightly surpassing Roblox Corporation and 1SOFT, both of whom had over 36 million installs. Other significant entries in the bottom half of the Top 15 include Garena, KAYAC, Learnings, and ABI Games Studio to round off the list.

Regarding income, Tencent Games continued to reign supreme, earning an impressive $521.4 million, significantly outpacing other competitors. Century Games came in second with a robust $202.9 million, buoyed by the success of its simulation games.

In a tight race, FunPlus and Dream Games were close behind the top two earners, with FunPlus earning approximately $155.3 million and Dream Games slightly less at around $155 million. NetEase Games held onto fifth place with earnings of $141.2 million, while Scopely followed closely behind with approximately $136.9 million. This impressive sum was bolstered by the ongoing success of MONOPOLY GO!, which generated an astounding $109.4 million this month alone.

In a close race, Cognosphere (HoYoverse) wasn’t too far behind with approximately $131.8 million earnings, mainly due to its popular anime-style RPG games. Playrix also made a strong showing with around $129.7 million, thanks to the enduring success of their puzzle titles. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco, King, and Supercell maintained their consistent performance, each earning more than $100 million.

In the latest financial report, Clash Royale once more bolstered Supercell’s earnings to a total of approximately $118.8 million. The bottom end of the top 15 earners also featured Moon Active, Microfun, the creators of eFootball 2025 (KONAMI), and Cygames, all generating revenues between roughly $65 to $79 million.
