The Chilean-American actor’s big break came in 2014 when he landed a role in Games Of Thrones. 

Lately, he has been the center of attention on the silver screen, starring in the highly anticipated Gladiator sequel alongside Paul Mescal, and also in this summer’s most popular box-office hit – The Fantastic Four.

His distinctive style, characterized by snug vests and high boots that extend up to his thighs, has garnered attention even on the red carpet.

But the actor looked unrecognisable in an array of snaps from before his Hollywood fame. 

In a casual outfit consisting of a bomber jacket and an untucked pink shirt, this celebrity was pictured with their friend Sarah Paulson at the premiere of a Broadway show back in 2005. Can you identify who this mystery person might be?

Born as Jose Pedro Balmaceda Pascal on April 2, 1975, in Santiago, Chile, he was the son of Veronica Pascal, a child psychologist, and Jose Balmaceda, a fertility specialist.

At the age of four months, his parents were compelled to entrust him and his sister to their aunt due to a necessity for escape, as they aimed to evade arrest during the oppressive regime of General Pinochet, who was known for suppressing dissent at that time.

In half a year, the pair successfully scaled the walls of the Venezuelan embassy and sought refuge there.

Before settling in the United States, the family managed to move to Denmark initially, residing in San Antonio, Texas as their first U.S. address.
