At the 2025 TV Week Logie Awards red carpet on Sunday, Angela Bishop left everyone amazed, flaunting her remarkable weight loss in a captivating off-the-shoulder dress featuring a bold thigh-high split.
The seasoned entertainment journalist, aged 57, drew attention with her stylish olive green gown, adorned with draped accents on the torso and a fitted midsection emphasizing her sleek silhouette.
She accessorized the appearance with striking silver platform sandals, heavy metallic bracelets, and eye-catching rings adorned with sparkles. Her golden hair was styled in loose waves cascading over one shoulder.
The change is striking when you compare it to how she looked at the Logies over 20 years ago, specifically in 2004.
In the past, Bishop wore a low-cut satin gown adorned with lace trimming, paired with flowery lace stockings and a choker necklace – a style that perfectly embodied the fashion trends of that time.
Angela’s recent appearance on the red carpet beautifully showcases her elegant maturity, as her captivating grin and poised demeanor solidify her reputation as one of Australia’s most stunning and sophisticated TV stars.
Angela had first showed off her shock weight loss at the Golden Globes in January.
Initially, she uploaded an extremely stylish photo of herself onto Instagram prior to gracing the red carpet for Channel 10 during the glamorous event.
Angela has been candid regarding her weight loss journey, detailing the significant adjustments she made in her lifestyle that helped her shed pounds.
In 2020, Angela shared that instead of going to the gym frequently, she opted for a straightforward adjustment to her eating habits.
On her morning television program, she shared that she had recently broken free from her dependence on sugar-free energy drinks.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I found myself consuming approximately two to three cans daily without altering any other aspects of my eating habits. To my surprise, within three and a half weeks, I managed to shed a modest but satisfying two kilograms off my weight.
she confessed that quitting energy drinks was difficult for her, causing discomfort, yet she felt fantastic once she managed to break free from the habit.
‘I had very very bad headaches and didn’t feel good at all,’ she added.
Over the past few months, she’s been flaunting her slim figure at several high-profile events, following some weight loss.
On Studio 10, Angela gained recognition, however, the show, which had faced challenges, was canceled in November of 2023 following over ten years on television.
Angela, alongside her co-hosts Narelda Jacobs and Tristan MacManus, remained with Channel 10 and took on fresh responsibilities within the organization.
