Helen Flanagan has shared insights into why she’s putting her £1million family residence on the market, after her separation from Scott Sinclair.
This Coronation Street actor, aged 34, parted ways with her former soccer fiancé in the year 2022. They are parents to three kids: Matilda (age 9), Delilah (age 6), and Charlie (age 3).
Previously this year, Helen shared in the court that she had been experiencing financial difficulties prior to receiving a ban on driving for a duration of six months due to getting caught speeding.
Currently, Helen clarified her financial situation by disclosing the heartbreaking motivation behind selling her expansive eight-bedroom £1 million property in Cheshire.
She informed OK! Magazine that she isn’t currently experiencing a financial emergency, but rather is choosing to relocate as she desperately seeks a new beginning.
The house Scott gifted me was meant to be our joyful family dwelling, but it didn’t turn out that way.

‘I like to be light-hearted and I hate to sound depressing, but there is a sadness in this house.’
Previously well-known television actor openly acknowledged that the past three years were challenging for them, and expressed a desire to begin anew with her kids, focusing on fresh starts.
For the time being, Helen intends to remain in her current location to ensure minimal disruption to her children’s education, with a future goal of relocating to London.
The soap star admitted that she will struggle to downsize from her lavish eight-bedroom house.
During her conversation on The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, she emphasized that she considered herself as being quite grounded. However, she also admitted that the process of relocating would prove challenging for her.
She revealed that she invested a significant portion of her savings to make it exceptionally attractive, and it boasts eight spacious bedrooms, which can be challenging to maintain, she added.
Moving will be challenging for me as I find it hard to simplify my belongings. However, I wouldn’t want to appear out of touch with reality. The situation just feels unusual, and I’d appreciate some help in making it more manageable.
After spending thirteen years as a couple, Helen parted ways with Scott. Later, she began a new relationship with a 45-year-old construction worker named Robbie, but that ended in May. Now, Helen desires to remain unattached.

She shared with The Mirror recently that her focus is currently on her children, work, relocating, and spending time with her friends.
I find relationships challenging, especially when it comes to dating men. It seems like there’s always an issue. At this point, I’d prefer some time on my own.
‘Robbie was very sweet and kind. He was older than me and cared about me.
‘Sometimes relationships just don’t work long term.’
Helen revealed that, since Carina, Robbie’s daughter, and her own daughter Delilah had grown quite close, she would now feel apprehensive about introducing her kids to any new acquaintances in the future.
In an interview for The Life of Bryony podcast on Daily Mail in March, mere weeks before they parted ways, Helen expressed her delight about her relationship with Robbie.
As a newly-acquainted admirer, I must say he left quite an impression on me at the bar last night. He was so charming that everyone seemed to adore him, and I couldn’t help but laugh heartily in his presence.

“I’ve never encountered anyone as amusing as my partner. Not only is he a loving father to his two children, but he also has an exceptional way of connecting with mine.” (This version attempts to keep the original sentiment while using more natural and easy-to-read language.)
As a deeply devoted admirer, I can’t help but confess that it’s his exceptional understanding and care for my mental health matters that has only intensified my affection for him. Above all else, this is the crucial aspect I yearn for.
What I truly prioritize is finding an individual who positively impacts both my mental and emotional well-being. This realization has become especially important to me.
‘Though I hold deep affection towards the father of my children, there were times when he found it challenging to understand or manage me, which isn’t uncommon. However, the individual I’m currently with seems to grasp who I am and what I need, bringing me immense joy.’
