As a die-hard fan bursting with excitement, I’m thrilled to share that the cherished offspring of legendary singer John Farnham has become a father for the first time, in the loving arms of his partner, Dr. Tessa Effendi, this past June.

On Friday, James posted a sweet collection of pictures on Instagram, featuring the freshly-arrived baby in various charming outfits.

Acknowledging Jett’s musical heritage, one picture depicted the little one dozing off, adorned with headphones, in front of a tiny piano, ukulele, and a small Marshall amp.

Another black and white photo showed Jett’s tiny feet being lovingly cupped by mum and dad’s hands.

Captioning the images, James shared a gushing tribute to Tessa’s strength and bravery.

‘Our Beautiful Baby Boy, Jett. Born 18th June 2025 at 5:26pm,’ he wrote.

Tessa, I am deeply grateful for the incredible gift of welcoming such a beautiful child into our lives. Your selflessness in sharing your body, thoughts, and emotions to establish our small family is truly appreciated.

Observing you endure labor and welcome our son into the world has deepened my understanding of love and respect for you, taking it to uncharted heights.

‘You are remarkably powerful, extraordinarily courageous, and simply fantastic as a mother. You are priceless to both me and Jett.’

James concluded his post with a heartfelt thanks to both Tessa’s physician and midwife, acknowledging their significant role in ensuring the process went as smoothly as it could.

In simpler terms, he said that your expertise and tranquility played a crucial role in ensuring the delivery we desired, one that required little medical interference and prioritized Tessa’s comfort and mental clarity throughout the process.

‘Things could’ve gone very differently, and we’ll forever be grateful.’

The post was met with a flurry of congratulations from friends and followers.
