Kelly Osbourne’s poignant last interview about Ozzy: Star spoke about how well her dad was doing two weeks before he died as heartbreaking truth about her wedding emerges

In a deeply touching final interview, conducted two weeks prior to his passing, Kelly Osbourne shared insights on her father Ozzy’s health and condition.

On the 22nd of July, the legendary rock musician from Black Sabbath passed away at the age of 76. He was privately buried at his residence in Buckinghamshire on Thursday during a solemn ceremony.

Two days prior to getting engaged to Sid Wilson at Ozzy’s last show with his band in Villa Park, Birmingham, Kelly expressed that her dad was experiencing great well-being.

Kelly, age 40, expressed: “My father is fantastic! He’s absolutely thrilled for his last performance this coming Saturday. There’s a mix of anxiety and excitement swirling around.

He’s handling everything effortlessly, and the rehearsals have been outstanding. The spotlight is solely on him. This performance promises to be deeply moving.

In the spirit of transparency and excitement as I prepared for my upcoming wedding, I decided to share my nuptial plans with Kelly, which involved exchanging vows in a faraway location to maintain an intimate setting. However, it’s now bittersweet to realize that my father, Ozzy, won’t be there to escort me down the aisle on this special day.

She mentioned that they’re considering a destination wedding since it would ensure attendance from those who genuinely care for them. That’s why they’re traveling there at the moment.

Kelly admitted that her well-known mother, Sharon, intends to oversee all the arrangements for her wedding, as she disclosed that she’s “hands-off” when it comes to the event.

From my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I’d express it this way: “Personally, I prefer a straightforward approach – tying the knot at the town hall and then managing a charming local pub together would be my ideal scenario.

‘But it is not up to me, so I’m letting my mum plan it.’

At Ozzy’s funeral procession on Wednesday, Kelly donned glasses that were reminiscent of her late father’s signature purple style as a touching tribute.

In the heart of the city, there was a celebration honoring the legendary heavy metal figure; his companions like friends, family (including his wife Sharon), were part of this event. The procession ended at the Black Sabbath Bridge where they disembarked.

In the past, Ozzy has openly expressed that Kelly is his “most cherished child,” having once told Rolling Stone that they are as close as “two peas in a pod.” He often expresses admiration for their strong bond.

Mother-of-one Kelly covered her tears with the glasses which were a familiar look for Ozzy.

She, along with her siblings Jack and Aimee, placed flower arrangements at the location as they stood alongside Sharon. Meanwhile, they displayed peace symbols, expressing their appreciation towards the onlookers. They were joined by Louis, Ozzy’s son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

Over the past week, I’ve been drawn to the poignant sight of the Black Sabbath Bridge adorned with heartfelt floral tributes. Yesterday, I found myself standing there, and I was fortunate enough to witness a touching moment as Jack and Kelly shared an emotional hug.

Previously, Ozzy, who is a father of five, expressed his deep affection for Kelly, his daughter, in an interview. He stated: “Among all my children, if I have to pick a favorite, it would be Kelly.

In response to Rolling Stone’s question about whether Jack and Aimee are aware of something, he stated that they certainly are because he and Kelly are as close as peas in a pod.

In 2003, the duo of father and daughter re-released an updated version of their song, reaching the top spot on the UK singles chart. This new rendition encapsulated their shared reflections on their lives spent together.
