This week in Los Angeles, Priscilla Presley, who was previously married to Elvis Presley, seemed somber and wore an expression that suggested pain as she made her appearance.
Over the past two years, the 80-year-old has had a challenging time following the tragic passing of her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in January 2023.
At the young age of 54, Lisa Marie passed away due to complications arising from a weight-loss procedure she had undergone in the past.
In late 2023, Priscilla and her granddaughter, Riley Keough, found themselves embroiled in a contentious court dispute concerning their family’s estate. However, they managed to reach an agreement on the matter towards the end of that year.
For the past year, she’s found herself embroiled in yet another legal dispute with her ex-business partners. She took legal action against them, claiming they committed financial exploitation under the guise of her being an elderly individual, seeking a compensation of $1 million.
In the fashionable neighborhood of Bel-Air, she appeared with a visible burden from recent years etched onto her face on this particular Monday.

Priscilla, with her distinctive red hair pulled back neatly into a high ponytail, exuded style in a blouse adorned with flowers and matching pants, carrying a clutch purse.
In the initial court documents she provided to DailyMail.com, Priscilla asserted that her past associates, namely Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, Vahe Sislyan, and Lynn Walker Wright, had exploited her position, seizing control of her finances in a calculated manner, thereby compelling her into a form of financial servitude that was both methodically orchestrated and morally repugnant.
In 2021, Priscilla encountered Kruse, the individual she later found herself in a lawsuit with for breach of contract in February 2024, when Kruse was operating a business that sold Elvis memorabilia via an auction house.
The lawsuit asserts that Kruse convinced Priscilla that her previous financial advisors were either dishonest or inept, followed by allegations that he tricked her into signing contracts and establishing companies. As a result, he and his associates reportedly obtained 80% of Priscilla’s income, leaving Presley with only 20% of the profits from her own company.
Priscilla asserts that the group gave her only a small portion of shares in the businesses they developed together, which made substantial profits using her personal branding elements like name, picture, and reputation. The lawsuit encompasses both Priscilla Presley herself and Priscilla Presley Partners, LLC.
The legal action claims that money from the 2023 movie about Priscilla, featuring Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny, was likewise embezzled. It further labels Kruse as a ‘deceitful swindler’ and ‘compulsive liar.’
As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share that Presley alleges her former business partners sabotaged a fantastic opportunity for the star to own a piece of a cosmetics company. Instead, she was left with a one-time payment of $300,000 upfront, a sum they, in her belief, deposited into their personal bank accounts.
The lawsuit alleges that the associates were creating new bank accounts at their preferred banks (and damaging Presley’s long-standing relationships with financial institutions), secretly adding themselves to her bank accounts, transferring funds between accounts (and to their personal accounts), and engaging in fraudulent transactions under false pretenses for their own gain.

The lawsuit further alleges that Kruse and her associates illegally withdrew $40,000 from an account belonging to Navarone Garibaldi, her son, without proper approval. They are also accused of attempting to negotiate business deals concerning the estate of the late Lisa Marie Presley, which is suspected to be fraudulent. Additionally, they allegedly falsely billed Priscilla for moving and storage costs.
Priscilla, through her attorney Marty Singer, is filing a lawsuit against Kruse seeking over $1 million in compensation. Additionally, she aims to annul the agreements she entered into with Kruse and the other involved parties.
Legal counsel for Kruse and Kevin Fialko explained to DailyMail.com that the lawsuit they’ve initiated is a reactive measure in response to the legal action taken by Priscilla’s business associates last year.
We’re certain that truth will come out on its own, and fairness will win in the end. It’s disheartening for us who put our lives aside to offer assistance to a woman in need, only to find that she’s now trying to tarnish the reputations of compassionate, diligent individuals with her fame.

Appreciation goes out to each one of you who’ve stayed loyal through these challenging times. We’re committed to concentrating on our business and eagerly await our day in court. The facts will surface via evidence, not gossip. For now, we choose silence, honoring the judicial process.
In her lawsuit against the star, Kruse stated that he had averted her potential financial breakdown and public humiliation in February 2024.
According to documents examined by TMZ, Kruse stated that he and Ms. Presley established a business together called Priscilla Presley Partners in the year 2022.
According to the documents submitted last September, Kruse stated that she managed both Priscilla’s professional and personal matters during a period of financial struggle for the celebrity. This was a crucial time when the famous individual was running out of money.
Priscilla had outstanding tax debts of $700,000 at the time, Kruse told the court.
Kruse stated that Presley was roughly two months from a financial breakdown when she intervened and organized her finances instead.
Kruse testified in court that they invested a considerable sum of money and effort into developing projects specifically for Priscilla, which were meant to benefit from the publicity surrounding the release of the Sofia Coppola biopic Priscilla in October 2023.
In August 2023, Kruse alleged that Priscilla stopped communicating with her and failed to pay the earnings due from joint projects they had completed together.

According to reports, Priscilla, known for movies like The Naked Gun series and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, has submitted documents asking the court to throw out the ongoing lawsuit.
According to Priscilla’s attorney, Singer, Priscilla stopped collaborating with Kruse once she discovered that Kruse and her partner were trying to fraudulently take control of Priscilla Presley’s property, and they were also involved in other unethical activities.
According to Singer, Priscilla initially made substantial allegations against PPP, specifically against its leaders Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, for misusing a large sum of money, well before the questionable lawsuit was brought forth.
He stated: ‘It is expected that my client will be proven innocent and win a verdict against them.’
On August 27, 2021, she appeared next to Priscilla in an Instagram post. In this post, she promoted a lunch event scheduled for September 4, 2021, which was to take place in Beverly Hills, California.
On the last day of 2022, I was absolutely thrilled to discover that Kruse had announced a spectacular event starring none other than Priscilla! This unmissable event is scheduled for January 5, 2023, right at The Vineyard Wine Bar & Healthy Bistro in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida. I can hardly wait to be there, it’s going to be an unforgettable experience!
On her social media profile update in October 2021, Kruse was characterized as the founder and principal auctioneer of a globally recognized auction house, a significant influence within the auction sector, and a compassionate champion for those in need.
The text further explains: ‘She’s renowned for her record-breaking auctions in areas such as entertainment memorabilia, high-end fashion, precious jewels, and royal artifacts. Yet, she’s consistently dedicated herself to her community and charities that matter to her.’
