Katy Perry fueled speculation about a romantic connection with the ex-Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, during a intimate dinner outing, not long after her breakup with Orlando Bloom was made public.

On Monday evening, the 40-year-old singer and Prime Minister Trudeau, who is 53 years old, were caught having dinner together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

According to TMZ, the duo was seen leaning close together across a table, engaged in an intimate conversation.

A smiling Perry was seen gesturing as Trudeau intently listened.

Perry shares one daughter Daisy, four, with ex fiance Bloom, 48. 

In August 2023, Trudeau divulged that he has three kids with his former spouse, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, following 18 years of marriage between the two.

Sophie was friends with and attended school alongside Michel Trudeau, the elder brother of Justin Trudeau, who tragically passed away in an avalanche at the age of 23 in 1998.

They began dating in 2003 after reconnecting as adults and were engaged a short time afterwards. 

On January 6th, Trudeau declared he would be relinquishing his position as the leader of the Liberal party, yet he continued to serve as prime minister until a new leader was selected on March 9th.

Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.
