In August, Jenas, who is also a father to a child from a past relationship, was let go by the BBC. This termination led to him no longer being able to host The One Show or perform his analysis roles on Match of the Day and 5 Live.

For sixteen years, I shared a wonderful journey with my spouse. Few manage to sustain such longevity. We experienced our fair share of highs and lows. Unfortunately, she was impacted by the challenging aspects of my professional life during those years, but she’s truly remarkable.
In a conversation with The Sun not long after being dismissed by the BBC, Jenas confessed that his spouse was extremely upset about the situation.
He said: ‘We’ve not really spoken properly since. She’s absolutely raging.’
At the moment, it’s all about the kids for me. They’re stuck at home during the school break due to photographers camped outside my residence.

He added: ‘I’ve got to take responsibility and I’ve apologised to all of them.
To put it simply, I find myself at a loss for words concerning that matter. The truth is, things are tough at home for our children presently. My wife is truly an exceptional individual in this challenging situation.
‘My wife is solid and she’s amazing. She is kind. She just needs some time.’
