He’s also added a third gig for his Melbourne shows.

The superstar will now play at Marvel Stadium on February 26, 27 and 28.

Ed concludes his nationwide tour on March 5 at Adelaide Oval, which wraps up more than a month of travel around the country.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be treating Australian fans to an entirely fresh live spectacle, featuring tracks from my eagerly awaited album, Play. The album officially hits the airwaves on September 12th!

Ed Sheeran, famously known for his song “Thinking Out Loud,” casually revealed in June that he would be visiting Australia again in early 2026, marking a return to the country three years following his unprecedented tour across Australia.

A well-known British figure recently shared an unexpected detail in a TikTok post, igniting excitement among fans who are eagerly anticipating the upcoming grand event at the stadium.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it this way: “The surprising news about the tour was caught by Nova 96.9 radio personality Smallzy, who playfully posted our conversation on his Instagram Story with the humorous caption: ‘Temporarily stepping away to donate some organs for concert tickets.’

In a viral TikTok clip, a fan posed this question to the singer: ‘Does returning to Australia soon appeal to you?’

Ed, without skipping a beat, replied: ‘Start of 2026’.

Using chart-topping songs such as “Shape of You,” “Perfect,” and “Photograph” – all surpassing 2 billion plays on Spotify – Sheeran continues to be a highly influential artist in his musical era.

At present, he has approximately 100 million people tuning in to his music each month, which places him as the third most popular artist worldwide in terms of global followings.
