Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King take selfie with new BFF Kris Jenner at Beyonce’s final Cowboy Carter concert

The adventures of Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and their pal Kris Jenner continued on Saturday.

On Saturday, the group went to Beyoncé’s last Cowboy Carter concert in Las Vegas, where they snapped a celebrity-filled selfie with several prominent stars who were there as well.

In the evening, both Gayle and Oprah posted three pictures showing them with Kerry Washington, Tyler Perry, Khloe Kardashian and her partner Corey Gamble.

Gayle’s daughter, Kirby Bumpus, also tagged along.

First and final event! In the vibrant city of Las Vegas, together with the cowboy team, we’re here to witness Beyoncé bring an end to her iconic Cowboy Carter tour!” Gayle wrote excitedly in the caption.

Observers found it unexpected that the three formed an unusual bond, and their reactions ranged from a mix (mostly) of dissatisfaction.

In the comments, one fan asked when did Kris ‘start hanging out with Gayle and Oprah.’ 

‘When did Oprah and Gayle become besties with Kris Jenner?’ another noted. 

‘???? Kris Jenner ?????’ another posted.  

Back at Jeff Bezos’ nuptials a month ago, I couldn’t help but notice the captivating trio – their camaraderie was evident and sparked curiosity among us die-hard fans. It felt like a subtle confirmation that these remarkable women are more than just acquaintances.

Nevertheless, Oprah and Kris’s relationship dates back many years, with their friendship seemingly strengthening during the extravagant multi-day celebrations.

In 2012, Oprah chatted with Kris and the entire Kardashian-Jenner crew at their residence, and Kris couldn’t contain her excitement about it afterwards.

On Twitter at the time, the famous manager affectionately known as a mom posted a picture alongside Oprah, expressing her joy by saying, “Today was simply amazing, @Oprah! We adore you! Thank you for sharing this special day with us!

A well-known actress, who was fondly admired, subsequently defended a prominent family against criticism that actress Rebel Wilson leveled at them back in 2014.

In a conversation with Kyle and Jackie O in Australia that particular year, the topic of Rebel Wilson’s critique regarding their family’s rise to stardom emerged.

In her own words, the star from Pitch Perfect expressed that the Kardashians, along with their family, are more focused on fame rather than natural talent. On the other hand, she emphasized her personal journey of hard work to achieve her success.

When the hosts brought up those comments, Oprah waved them away and referenced their interview.

Two years back, she mentioned that when she interviewed the Kardashians, she was astonished by their work ethic.

Oprah stated that some people might assume, ‘If a TV camera is always with you, it must be simple.’ However, she explained that producing a realistic reality series requires constant vigilance and being available at all times.

‘I went to film them as a family, and I was amazed by their dedication. We stayed for seven hours, and they planned to tape another seven hours after I left. No matter who you are… that level of work is impressive.’
