Bam Margera admits he’s had a ‘really rough week’ after Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne’s deaths

Bam Margera confessed to experiencing a particularly difficult week, given that he is grieving over the passing of not one but two icons: Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne.

On Thursday, at the age of 71, the renowned WWE figure experienced a fatal cardiac arrest at his residence in Clearwater, Florida. Only two days prior, the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath passed away at the age of 76, with affection surrounding him.

45-year-old Margera posted heartfelt messages on his Instagram for the departed celebrities. During an interview with TMZ in Los Angeles on Friday, he also shared thoughts about their unexpected demises.

He shared that this past week has been incredibly challenging, and added that it’s been particularly tough with the Hogans. His sympathies are extended to everyone involved in their situation.

Recently, I found myself basking in the warmth of Florida during the chilly winter months, skateboarding alongside the legends themselves – yes, you guessed it, Hulk Hogan and his remarkable clan. What an unforgettable experience that was!

One day, the celebrity from MTV encountered Hulk Hogan, who was using a cane to walk. When the star mentioned that Marie specializes in stretching therapy, Hogan expressed interest, stating that such services were precisely what he required.

‘So, we pretty much stayed in Florida the whole winter for the Hogans.’

Margera reminisced about special times they spent together, such as weekly Monday karaoke sessions that were a regular occurrence.

The expert skateboarder mentioned that he and Hogan shared a dream of watching Swedish-American guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen perform, which they managed to do before his passing.

As a devoted admirer, I recall gracing the occasion of Nick Hogan’s wedding in January. Notably, the WWE icon was also present at this memorable event.

He admitted that he was still having a hard time processing his sudden passing.

The star expressed that he was still in a state of astonishment, stating, “I can’t believe what happened, I’m still taken aback.” Meanwhile, his wife mentioned their intention for a dinner date with Hogan the following week.

For quite some time, Margera and Hogan were acquainted, and when the professional wrestler paid tribute to the Jackass star in 2018, it was under the assumption that his friend had already passed away.

Previously, Hogan posted an old picture of the two on a social media platform (previously known as Twitter), accompanied by this message: “Oh, Bam! If only you were still here. I’d give anything to spend time with you again, my brother. I miss you and love you.

Later on, Hogan discovered that Margera was indeed still living, and he acknowledged that he had mistaken him for his Jackass colleague, Ryan Dunn – who tragically died in a car crash back in 2011.

On Instagram, Margera paid tribute to Hogan following his passing by posting a series of photographs spanning their many years together.

I’m devastated. Hulk wasn’t just a hero, but a cherished family member for me and my wife,” he wrote. “Today, we lost another iconic figure, and I lost a dear brother-in-arms. It was a privilege to fulfill one of his dreams by taking him to see Yngwie Malmsteen.

Few recognized this fact, but prior to his career as a professional wrestler, Hulk was a skilled musician who performed in various bands and excelled as a studio musician, showcasing his exceptional abilities on the bass guitar.

Margera remarked, “We’ve created so many wonderful memories, such as sharing karaoke sessions with him at his Hogan’s Hangout.

Oh my goodness, I’ll truly miss you, friend. It’s such a painful feeling. I’ll always remember you. May the Hulkster rest in peace. Your spirit will live on with me forever.

For quite some time, I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Ozzy Osbourne personally, and our friendship stretches back over a decade. One of our most memorable collaborations was co-hosting the 2007 VH1 Rock Honors in the vibrant city of Las Vegas.

This past week, the former MTV personality posted a photo featuring him and Osbourne from the same event, accompanied by an emotional caption.

Timeless legends endure, and I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of that unforgettable night, standing alongside Ozzy Osbourne as he graced the stage at the VH1 Rock Honors in Las Vegas.

He went on saying, ‘May Ozzy find eternal peace… his energy, his vocals, and his craziness will resound endlessly. Jack, Kelly, and Sharon… our hearts ache along with yours. Sending our sympathies and love in this difficult time.’

It was announced on Thursday that Hogan had tragically passed away at the age of 71 in Florida, leaving behind grieving friends and admirers who are deeply saddened by his demise.

At 9:51 a.m. today, emergency responders from the Clearwater Fire Department and the Clearwater Police Department were dispatched to a medical incident located in the 1000 block of Eldorado Avenue on Clearwater Beach. This information was reported by a representative of the Clearwater Police Department.

The reason for the call was a cardiac emergency. A 71-year-old local resident, Terry Bollea (also recognized as Hulk Hogan), received treatment from Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel before being transported by Sunstar to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was subsequently declared dead.

On Hogan’s main Instagram, there was a message expressing profound sorrow and regret, stating that we have indeed lost an extraordinary figure, a true legend.

Today, we mourn the passing of Terry Bollea, globally recognized as Hulk Hogan. In the face of our sorrow, let’s honor his memory by granting privacy to his dear family and friends during this challenging time.

Let’s find comfort in the beautiful memories he created for his countless fans across the globe, who he impacted over a span of four decades. Though we will miss him dearly, his legacy shall endure forever.

Hogan was the parent of two grown-up kids, Brooke, aged 37, and Nick, 34 years old. He had these children together with his former wife, Linda, during their marriage which lasted from 1983 until 2009.

In 2010, he got married to Jennifer McDaniel, but they divorced in 2021. Subsequently, two years passed, and the renowned WWE figure exchanged vows with Sky Daily. Their marriage lasted until his untimely demise on Thursday.

Prior to his passing, Hogan had already had neck surgery. Despite rumors suggesting he was near death in a coma, Sky maintained that his heart remained robust.

A representative for the deceased celebrity made it clear through a statement that while he has struggled with back issues for quite some time, there was never an urgent or critical situation.

According to a source, the WWE legend is making efforts to fully recover after undergoing operations on his neck and back.

According to the source, Hulk’s physique bears the wear and tear of decades of wrestling, with numerous scars and aches accumulated over the years. Moreover, his latest neck and back operations have proven to be particularly challenging for him in terms of recovery.

2 days ago, on Tuesday, a statement was shared by Osbourne’s family, confirming the passing of Black Sabbath’s lead singer.

With a heavier heart than any words can express, it is with great sorrow that we must share the devastating news: Our cherished Ozzy Osbourne has left us this morning.

He was in the company of his loved ones, enveloped by affection. At present, we kindly request that everyone honors our family’s privacy. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis are part of this circle.

For several weeks after his demise, Osbourne delivered his last performance in Birmingham, expressing to the audience during his speech: “I can hardly find the words – but from the deepest part of my heart, I am profoundly grateful.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the unforgettable spectacle that man created—a captivating blend of adored and debated instances. One moment that stands out in my mind is when he dramatically sank his teeth into a bat during a live performance, an act that remains etched in the annals of rock ‘n’ roll history.

Over the years, he’s often been questioned about that particular incident, yet he consistently maintained his belief that the object in question was a rubber plaything instead of a real animal.

The Crazy Train singer had been battling Parkinson’s disease since 2003.
