British girl-group legend hints at new role on controversial US reality show after enjoying night out with main star

It seems that former Sugababes member Mutya Buena has subtly suggested she might appear on the next season of the American reality television series, Baddies, which is known for its contentious nature.

Attentive viewers noticed that the singer was seen socializing with one of the show’s well-known celebrities during their latest evening out, and they even appeared in a TikTok clip together.

The provocative series titled “Baddies” stars Natalie Nunn, a US celebrity recognized in Britain for stirring up trouble following her stint on “Celebrity Big Brother” in the year 2018.

In 2012, Natalie entered into marriage, and it’s been alleged that she engaged in a three-way relationship with two of her Celebrity Big Brother colleagues: Chloe Ayling and Dan Osborne, who happens to be married to the actress from EastEnders, Jacqueline Jossa.

Their actions led to the collapse of multiple marriages, among them her own, resulting in her being left by her spouse after seven years together.

Currently, Natalie is the host of her self-controversial reality show. In this program, a group of women labeled as ‘Tough Cookie’ are residing together while traveling from one city to another, aiming to accumulate wealth, often referred to as “collecting the loot” or simply “getting the money”.

Living under the same roof and attending numerous club events, tensions frequently escalate among these girls, sometimes leading to both physical and verbal conflicts.

The latest show, broadcast on the Zeus Network, began in Africa and ended in London.

The latest news indicates that the upcoming season will be titled “Baddies UK” and will feature reality personalities, not just from the UK, but also from beyond the British Isles.

Fans are now conjecturing that Mutya might be participating in the show, given her recent interactions with its most prominent figure, Ahna Mac.

In the video, Ahna was seen dancing alongside Mutya and several popular online figures, which included the contentious YouTube star, Miss R Fabulous.

She wrote: ‘POV: I’m with the London baddies & they love Waves.’

Fans flooded the comments pointing out Mutya’s appearance in the 13second clips. 

The original text reads: “My fav sugababe Mutya!!! OMG BADDIES TAKE OVER; Not the cross over i was expecting but i’m here for it;”

“I really like Sugababe Mutya! Wow, this is unexpected, but I’m excited about the takeover by the Bad Girls; I wasn’t anticipating this crossover, but I’m ready to enjoy it.

“No, Mutya’s behavior has been less than ideal since 2000; YES, MUTYA!; It seems like nobody’s talking about Mutya these days. Or could it be someone else disguised as her?

Look at this video, it’s quite unusual with all these people combined. By any chance, is Mutya in here? I can’t tell; Is Mutya actually present?; It seems like Mutya and Miss R Fab are both there – why not?

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself utterly bewildered when I come across both Mutya and her fellow Sugababe in the same social sphere – it’s simply too much for my mind to process! The moment I spot Mutya, my heart skips a beat, and I can’t help but exclaim, “Oh, is that Mutya from the Sugababes?” Then, I find myself asking in disbelief, “Is that really Mutya? She doesn’t seem to have aged at all!

TopMob have contacted Mutya’s representatives for comment.  

It comes as Mutya has reportedly signed up to Celebrity Bake Off, which is set to air in 2026. 

According to The Sun, the former member of the Sugababes group is set to participate in a Channel 4 program to collect funds for Stand Up To Cancer.

A source close to the production shared that Mutya is hoping to secure a friendly greeting from Paul Hollywood upon entering the tent.

She may not think of herself as an expert baker, but since it’s for charity, she’ll surely give it a try.

TopMob has contacted Channel 4 and Mutya’s representative for comment. 

Next year, Mutya aims to get comfortable cooking in the kitchen following her participation in Celebrity MasterChef last year, during which she faced difficulties with a cheesecake challenge.

She is well-known for crafting a rich, substantial biscuit crust so solid that it could potentially be utilized as a doorstop.

Despite crashing out of the competition, the singer said she was proud of her progress. 

She mentioned that her motivation for participating in Celebrity MasterChef was her passion for cooking, which extends beyond just herself, as she also delights in preparing meals for her loved ones.

‘I wanted to learn some new things in the kitchen, some new tricks that I could bring home.’
