According to the initial accounts shared by close associates, it was revealed that Kaluuya severed ties with Creative Artists Agency, dismissed his representatives, and hinted at worries regarding the level of control exerted by a certain spiritual figure in his life.

Matthew Belloni, a renowned Hollywood journalist, mentioned that the team behind Nope felt apprehensive about the woman who identified as a ‘spiritual gangster’, as there were worries she may have exerted too much influence over him.

Over the past week, following the renewed speculation, a Hollywood executive acquainted with Kaluuya stated that he hasn’t vanished but rather is engrossed in pursuing his own interests. The executive further remarked: ‘Daniel has consistently chosen his own path, deviating from the typical trajectory.’

Following his Oscar win, people expected him to star in massive blockbusters. However, his subsequent movie was ‘Nope’, and ever since, he has devoted much of his time to working on smaller films and also writing and serving as an executive producer.

He’s unique. It’s sad that not everyone appreciates this, but Daniel isn’t your typical actor who needs to make a film every year. He transcends that.
