Michelle has credited clean living and regular workouts for her transformation.

After revealing the harrowing ordeal where she came close to losing her spouse due to her struggle with alcoholism, Michelle’s much-anticipated and joyous family vacation follows, as she ponders over mended relationships symbolized by rebuilt bridges.

For the past four years, the mother of two has remained abstinent following a 2021 hospitalization while fighting addiction to alcohol and drugs.

In a current state where they’re deeply affectionate towards each other, Michelle openly shared that their romantic journey wasn’t always an easy ride, as challenges arose from her struggles with substances.

During an interview with OK! Magazine last year, she revealed that during the peak of her addiction, she persistently asked a businessman to depart from her and frequently distanced herself from him.

When inquired about how her addiction affected her marriage with her husband, Michelle responded: ‘It had a tremendously negative impact – fortunately, he chose not to leave me.’

He sensed that I was hidden within, merely biding his time until I rediscovered myself. Unfortunately, I’ve scorched relationships with some friends; they could no longer watch as I spiraled downwards.

‘When you’re an alcoholic, you push people away because you feel like you don’t deserve love.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say I now find myself discussing my past challenges quite transparently, having taken the time to address numerous queries.

For the past four years, while battling addiction, Hugh (her husband whom she married in 2010) had to distance himself from her actions in order to maintain good health for their family.

Referring to him as “Mr. Impeccable,” the singer declared he is an exceptional individual, who not only plays a significant role in her life but has even been a savior for her. However, she admitted that his disorganized conduct within their shared space can be quite frustrating at times.

During the peak of her struggle, this singer had been consuming nearly two bottles of wine and a bottle of vodka each day, starting from 2018. However, an intervention initiated by Katie Price eventually prompted her to seek help at a rehabilitation center.
