Real Housewives star claims she was infected by same parasite that disfigured Brandi Glanville
It’s said that another cast member from Real Housewives has allegedly contracted the same parasite that affected Brandi Glanville.
Vicki Gunvalson, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County and now 63 years old, asserts that she contracted a parasite during the filming of Bravo’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco, which took place in January 2023.
Brandi is experiencing intense discomfort due to a rather significant parasite, as mentioned by Gunvalson during her appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, on the latest episode. This refers to the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who is 52 years old.
‘During our trip to Morocco, we all fell ill. Four years later, Brandi is still dealing with the aftermath – she has a parasite that seems to be moving around in her body and occasionally enters her mouth. It’s a troubling situation, according to the reality star.’
Gunvalson asserted that she has been experiencing bloating, constipation, and fatigue since her return from Morocco. She was informed that her digestive system is allegedly filled with parasites.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Bravo representatives for comment.

The celebrity asserted that she hasn’t felt like her usual self, lamenting about her discomfort due to a bloated stomach and feeling unwell, with exhaustion added to the mix.
‘Where I’m at now is like, “Why do I always feel sluggish?”‘
She continued by explaining, ‘I rarely have bowel movements. In fact, it’s quite challenging for me. If I do, it’s only about once a week. What I pass is more like a small, hard pellet, that’s all.’
According to Gunvalson, she undergoes colon hydrotherapy treatments about three times a week and uses medications such as Duralax and Metamucil, which are often associated with older individuals, to manage her health concerns.
That’s when she reportedly found out she had parasites in her gut.
The star revealed she’s been taking Ivermectin ‘twice a month’ in order to kill the parasites.
Gunvalson further stated that she is completely convinced that Glanville contracted the parasite during their travel together.
She explained that the breakfast spread for the actors in Morocco was filled with fruits, pastries, and eggs, but it was swarming with flies.
Although she didn’t partake in the buffet, it seemed impossible to avoid the pesky flies, as one might encounter them even in restaurants.
I’ve been a die-hard fan, but sadly, my beloved series had to be put on hold due to allegations made against one of the cast members during filming. Caroline Manzo bravely spoke up about her experience with sexual assault involving Brandi Glanville, which ultimately led to the show’s suspension. It’s a heartbreaking turn of events for us fans, but I truly respect and admire Caroline for standing up for herself.
Nevertheless, it seems that Gunvalson may have mixed up her timeline, as the Morocco season was actually filmed in January 2023, contrary to her assertion that it occurred four years prior.

Glanville openly discusses her health struggles, having earlier disclosed that she’s invested more than one hundred thousand dollars in treating her condition, which she attributes to a facial pest she thinks is responsible.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I feel compelled to share an important personal update that I offered to my followers last May. I took a moment to address some unkind remarks that have been made about my appearance, specifically regarding my facial features. I believe it’s crucial to promote positivity and kindness in our interactions with one another, especially online.
She’s been relatively quiet on social media recently as she’s chosen to keep a low profile, avoiding interactions that might involve harsh criticisms about her looks. This was shared partially on platform X.
Instead, Glanville assured her followers that her secluded period has ended and she will stop using filters and excessive editing on her social media platforms from now on.
Glanville has incurred substantial expenses because of her health concerns.
As a devoted enthusiast, I’ve personally invested more than $113,000 from my own savings to address this enigmatic health issue, going beyond what my insurance covers. Yet, despite these efforts, I haven’t noticed any significant improvement in my condition so far.
Following numerous consultations with doctors, several healthcare professionals suggested that the reality star might be dealing with a “mobile parasite affecting her facial area.
Simultaneously, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, who is wedded to Real Housewives Of Orange County celebrity Heather Dubrow, expressed his worry that Glanville might be experiencing either an ‘infectious issue’ or a ‘reaction to something foreign she had injected’.
Dubrow further explained that it was not Glanville’s fault for being unsure about the issue she was facing. Instead, he pointed the finger at her doctor for lacking a clear diagnosis and treatment strategy.

Indeed, his impression was quite clear that whatever was happening with her wasn’t related to a parasite and wasn’t due to anything she consumed.
Instead, he proposed that the problem might stem from a substance that entered her bloodstream and implanted a foreign entity.
Interestingly enough, Dubrow entertained the idea that Glanville’s intuition could surpass medical predictions, suggesting that indeed, she may need surgery as per her assumption.
He observed that it was possible for her to contract either mycobacteria or fungi, which could prove to be ‘quite challenging to manage.’
Dubrow appeared noticeably worried as he described Glanville’s state as “ticking like a time bomb,” for the reason that the possible harm could escalate rapidly within a brief span.
Later on, Brandi disclosed that she’d consulted with Dubrow, however, she opted to seek a second professional opinion.
Brandi explained that Dubrow told her it might take five years for her to be ‘totally fine.’
On her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, the reality star expressed that a five-year wait is far too prolonged for her, and she disclosed that it’s been over a year since she last engaged in intimate relationships due to her health concerns.

‘I’ve got destinations to visit and people to share affection with. It’s been since last October that I last engaged in any intimate activity. I haven’t shared a kiss or had any romantic encounters with anyone recently, and I’ve also been keeping myself socially distanced.’
She mentioned that she intends to perform some tests, undergo another MRI and a second CAT scan, expressing her desire to thoroughly investigate this matter.
Brandi added that she doesn’t ‘feel better’ and stills sees ‘this thing in my face jumping around.’
Additionally, she mentioned that she is under the care of four distinct medical professionals, each of whom has provided a unique perspective on what the issue might potentially be.
