The newly assigned superior informs him about a highly complex computer system he’s developed, capable of anticipating terrorist activities ahead of time and pinpointing potential perpetrators (similar to Minority Report), and asks the individual to serve as the field operative.

The show deals with issues of ethics and trusting in technology, and was acclaimed during its run.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the show has a 92% positive score from critics and an average 80% from fans.

Initially appearing as a fairly routine sci-fi series, Person of Interest demonstrated an impressive knack for reinventing itself throughout its initial four seasons, according to ScreenRant.

Despite adhering to the weekly crime format required for its 22-episode seasons, the show started subtly moving away from repetitive storylines. Instead, it began to develop a more complex, ongoing plotline, introducing fresh, intriguing characters who could grow and transform alongside the evolving narrative.

* IGN remarked that the series consistently offers a non-stop thrill ride, and
* TV Fanatic observed that each episode is filled with unending excitement.

One viewer found ‘Person of Interest‘ incredibly engaging from its very first episode, while another praised its writing as precise and skillfully constructed.

Person of Interest is available to stream now on 5.

The latest print edition from Digital Spy, titled “Oasis – Live in ’25”, is now available! You can pick it up at your local newsstands or purchase it online for only £8.99.
