Maura Higgins sparks concern as she begs fans to help her with painful injured knee admitting it feels like it is ‘on fire’ and is ‘killing her’
Maura Higgins sparked serious concern after telling fans her injured knee is ‘killing her’.
On a Friday, the popular Irish TV personality, aged 34, sought assistance from her Instagram followers, disclosing that her knee seemed to be throbbing.
In a bare-faced selfie while casually sipping a drink, the former Love Island contestant posted: ‘I can’t visit a specialist at the moment, but if you have suggestions for an over-the-counter product that could alleviate my excruciating knee pain, please message me.’
‘It feels like there’s a pulse inside of it & it’s also on fire.
Moving house and all the associated chaos hasn’t been beneficial for me. Additionally, my gray hairs are showing up, as I don’t have the luxury of time to deal with them.”
This version conveys the same message in a more conversational and easy-to-read manner.
The worrisome news follows Maura settling into her £1.25 million, five-bedroom “dream home” located in Essex.

Maura, with a reported net worth of approximately £3.2 million earned through her television roles, recently announced on Instagram that she had officially relocated to a new home.
Sharing a post featuring breathtaking black French doors overlooking an enchanting garden, adorned with a towering bunch of roses in a vase, a gleaming bottle of Ferrari sparkling wine, and a Diptyque scented candle.
After a particularly hectic few months,… she has now made her entrance, as the former Love Island star wrote in the caption for this photo.
Posting another photo from the kitchen with her friend, renowned hairstylist Carl Bembridge, she captioned: ‘No seats available just yet, but he’s never short of a place to perch.’
Born in a small Irish village, it was expected that Maura would spend her life there, wed her adolescent sweetheart, and establish a hair salon.
Previously, I boldly asserted, “That’s not the path I envisioned. That wasn’t my vision. It was my father’s and partner’s dream. I yearned for something greater.
As a committed enthusiast, I embarked upon a journey away from the Emerald Isle, where my career blossomed in captivating ways. I graced two renowned ITV reality shows, Love Island and more recently I’m A Celebrity, and furthermore, I was entrusted with presenting responsibilities.

In her next big move, the girl from remote County Longford purchased her huge house in Essex.
Due to her wealth, the presenter has been able to move from her old one-bedroom house in Essex to a larger one that includes a master bedroom with an en-suite and four additional rooms.
Thrilled, Maura posted on Instagram a photo of her recently purchased home’s new kitchen featuring a chandelier and gray floors (from October), accompanied by the caption: “Purchased my long-cherished dream house.
A spacious kitchen featuring an island extends, beyond the dining space, through bi-folding doors into a sizable enclosed garden boasting a well-kept grassy expanse.
Previously, Maura’s residence experienced an unexpected visit from three masked individuals. As a result, to ensure both privacy and safety, she chose to live in a residential community that is enclosed by gates for her latest dwelling.
