Brooke Hogan’s emotional way of remembering her late dad Hulk after bitter family feud

Despite the estrangement and family disputes, Brooke Hogan fondly recalled her father Hulk Hogan in a heartfelt manner.

This past Thursday, the renowned figure from WWE, unfortunately, passed away at the age of 71 following a cardiac arrest at his residence in Clearwater, Florida.

Prior to his unexpected passing, Brooke welcomed twin babies – a boy and a girl – in January. Notably, the name of her daughter pays homage to Hogan, as reported by a source to TMZ in an article published on Friday.

Molly Gene Olesky is her daughter’s complete name, sharing the middle name with a renowned late wrestler.

Despite their troubled relationship spanning over many years, sources close to the matter revealed that Brooke, aged 37, continued to harbor feelings of affection towards her father.

According to TMZ, she and her husband Steven Olesky relocated to Florida with the intention of getting closer to Hogan, however, unfortunately, they didn’t get an opportunity to solidify their relationship.

As a faithful follower, I warmly greeted Brooke and her son, Nick, who’s 34 years old. Nick happens to share the same ex-spouse as me, Linda, with whom I was married from 1983 until 2009.

In 2010, he got married to Jennifer McDaniel, but they divorced in 2021. Two years after that, the WWE legend wed Sky Daily, and their marriage lasted until his passing on Thursday.

Brooke found out about her father’s demise when Nick contacted her spouse, Steven, to pass on the heartbreaking information.

In September 2023, which was approximately two years ago, Brooke had a conversation with her dad, right before he tied the knot with Sky.

During that conversation, Brooke conveyed affection and worry towards her father, urging him not to overwork because of his deteriorating health. However, her suggestions for him to savor more of his life went unheeded. Unfortunately, they didn’t have another talk after that.

The report additionally states that Hulk supposedly expressed regret to Brooke during their conversation, yet it remained unclear as to what exactly he was apologizing about.

This past week, I found myself worried about Hulk’s circumstances and felt the need to shield him, as reported by TMZ. Regrettably, our bond couldn’t be mended.

In my account, despite my spouse’s persistent efforts to mend our union, even during the harrowing moment when Brooke nearly lost her life giving birth, I remained aloof and failed to make any effort to connect with Brook’s children, as reported by TMZ.

The outlet added that Hulk seemingly ‘only wanted a relationship with her under his terms.’ 

In April, DailyMail.com disclosed that Hogan was deeply saddened by the persistent family dispute, particularly the one involving Brooke.

‘The massive uphill battle might finally be taking place,’ an inside source stated. 

It seems Hogan is now taking notice and giving ear to people who’ve felt confused due to his actions. He’s aiming to rectify the regrettable choices he’s made in the past.

Although it’s been mentioned that Hogan wishes to keep his distance from Linda, our source clarified: ‘His heart is broken over not having a strong bond with his daughter, and he hopes one day they can mend their relationship.’

In light of the recent events and the accumulating hardships he’s faced, he is now considering ways to mend relationships and offer assistance instead of causing more trouble.

He’s aware that people might view his situation as similar to the boy who cried wolf, making it difficult for them to believe him. Yet, he is determined to complete the task at hand.

The source mentioned, ‘Things won’t transform immediately, but with his daughter and former wife having expressed their feelings, he seems to be genuinely considering this, which we hope may bring about positive improvements in the future.’

In the 2000s, Hulk suffered a blow to his public image due to a secretly recorded conversation that surfaced, where he expressed doubts about a Black individual’s involvement in financing Brook’s musical endeavors.

Hogan confided in a trusted relative: “I’m not certain about whether Brooke was involved with the African American man’s child… I want to make it clear that I don’t judge people based on their race.”

Hogan shared with a close acquaintance: “There’s uncertainty regarding whether Brooke had a relationship with the black guy’s son… I just want to emphasize that I don’t discriminate based on ethnicity.

As a devoted admirer, I must clarify that it wasn’t just Brooke who encountered troubles with the wrestling icon. In fact, his former spouse, Linda, has publicly criticized Hulk in recent times. Following the news of Hogan’s passing, his wife Sky finally spoke out via Instagram on Friday, expressing her feelings with these words: “I wasn’t prepared for this… My heart is shattered into fragments.

He’d been facing some health challenges, yet I was confident we could conquer them. I held such strong faith in his resilience. I thought there was still ample time left for us.

‘She said, “This loss is unexpected and hard to grasp. To the world, he was a legend, but to me, he was my Terry – the man I adored, my companion, and my heart’s partner.”‘

Hulk held a deep affection for his fans, and despite the increasing bodily distress, he made every effort to appear, sign memorabilia, pose for pictures, and interact with those who had stood by him. To him, you were invaluable.

Prior to his passing, Hogan had a neck operation, and it was asserted by Sky that his heart was robust despite rumors suggesting he was in a coma near death.

The representative of the deceased celebrity made a statement that he had struggled with back issues for quite some time, but nothing urgent or life-threatening was happening.

According to a source, the WWE legend is making efforts to fully recover after undergoing procedures on both his neck and back.

According to an insider, the Hulk’s physique has taken a toll due to wrestling, resembling that of a 140-year-old man with numerous battle scars accumulated over time. Recoveries from his recent neck and back operations have proven particularly challenging for him.
