Two well-known Australian personalities from reality television were taken aback when they found themselves appearing, quite unexpectedly, in the recently premiered American movie titled “Happy Gilmore 2.”
In a scene from the Netflix film, Love Island Australia contestants Kaylah Holmes (age 23) and Hannah Steinfeld (age 25) make an appearance, with their characters seen tuning into Love Island Australia on television.
In the Adam Sandler film, we find John Daly, portraying himself, and Christopher McDonald reenacting their roles from the previous part, casually viewing an explicit video from LIA on a television at Gilmore’s residence.
In the film, Hannah appears on television, showcasing her stunning physique in a bikini, as she enjoys an alfresco shower and engages in conversation with Kaylah.
In this scene, Christopher comments on Kaylah’s physical presence, to which John responds by stating: “Let’s avoid reducing women to their physical attributes from now on.

Love Island Australia is available to watch in America on Disney’s streaming platform Hulu.
The long-awaited sequel premiered on Netflix on Friday.
It’s been nearly three decades since the cast of Happy Gilmore initially hit the links.
Three well-known actors from the movie seemed almost unfamiliar during their appearance on The Today Show on a recent Tuesday.
Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, and Julie Bowen made an appearance on the program to talk about the eagerly awaited follow-up to the popular 1996 comedy.
In his current age of 58, Sandler, known for embodying the title role, sported a distinguished salt-and-pepper beard, quite different from the youthful 28-year-old visage he had in the initial film.

Despite the passage of time, his relaxed fashion sense remained consistent, as he sported a vibrant, floral-themed shirt.
55-year-old Julie Bowen, who portrayed the love interest of Happy’s character Virginia Venit, significantly changed her appearance compared to how she looked in the ’90s.
In the original film, Julie sported a very era-appropriate short blonde bob.
During the conversation, Julie, famously recognized for her character Claire Dunphy on Modern Family, opted to wear her long, golden tresses loose.
She also cut a very stylish figure in a smart houndstooth skirt and matching jacket.
Chris McDonald maintains a similar demeanor as he did when portraying the memorable villain Shooter McGavin in the movie.
At 70 years old, Chris’ hairstyle resembles the one from his popular comedy series, but this time it has a more greyish tone.
Regarding the upcoming installment, the group openly acknowledged that they didn’t aim to create something entirely novel, instead choosing to capitalize on the sense of nostalgia.
The sequel comes almost three decades after the original film debuted.
