- Features bespoke upgrades from Connolly, Pendennis, Vaughtons, and Bang & Olufsen
- Combines sculptural design with motorsport-grade performance and full concierge service
Before the British Grand Prix, Prodrive has showcased a refined version of its renowned Racing Simulator, now enriched with custom workmanship from some of Britain’s most esteemed artisans. This new 2025 model was unveiled at Bang & Olufsen’s Mayfair store, combining cutting-edge motorsport technology with traditional British luxury.
David Richards, former F1 team principal, first conceptualized this simulator, and Ian Callum designed it. It’s not just a high-performance training tool; it’s also a stunning piece of sculptural art. The latest version strengthens our partnerships with British craftsmen such as Connolly for custom leather upholstery, Vaughtons for bespoke branding, and Pendennis for a lacquered wood exterior reminiscent of luxury yachts and grand pianos, crafted using steam-forming techniques.
The chassis made from carbon fiber, nestled inside a polished wooden ring, surrounds a 49-inch curved display. It features racing-quality steering and a sophisticated pedal system designed to mimic the feel of contemporary race cars. The audio system, provided by Bang & Olufsen, comes with Beoplay HX headphones as standard, and can be upgraded with a Beosound A9 speaker for an enveloping sound experience.
Setup for each simulator commission only needs one power cord, and it’s handled with a comprehensive concierge service. A custom Goodwool cover is included as well. From July onwards, the upgraded simulator will be showcased at Harrods and Auto Vivendi, giving racing enthusiasts an opportunity to own a piece of British motorsport elegance.
