Sadie Robertson from Duck Dynasty reveals she was robbed and her car vandalized when with her kids

Sadie Robertson-Huff, a star from the show Duck Dynasty, shared on Thursday that she and her husband, Christian Huff, had been the victims of a burglary.

The crime happened during a recent family trip.

Unfortunately, it’s even more disheartening as we had our car seats, strollers, and diaper bag in the vehicle that was stolen,” Sadie, aged 28, shared with Whoa That’s Good Podcast.

Absolutely, they didn’t take anything from there, and I’m relieved about that, but honestly, it’s just disheartening. You understand that you’re stealing from a family with children, don’t you?

The expectant star from Duck Dynasty had a planned appearance at the religious gathering, Forward, in Atlanta.

Once in Atlanta, they stopped to get something to eat and that is when the robbery occurred.

Upon entering the restaurant, she and her companions paused, saying aloud, “Alright, let’s catch our breath. The past few hours have been quite taxing.” She reminisced about this moment later, as they had nearly missed their flight and their daughter had experienced a nosebleed.

But then things got worse: ‘Obviously, that didn’t really go as planned.’

Upon departing the restaurant, they discovered that their vehicle’s windows had been thoroughly smashed, and their backpacks were missing.

[The bags we were carrying] contained a great deal of essential items, such as our entire family’s passports… What they took from Christian was not only his physical driver’s license and all credit cards, but also his cherished Bible that he’s possessed for a long time… It was truly unfortunate,” she acknowledged.

It disturbed her that the thieves spotted car seats in the vehicle, yet they still chose to rob the young family regardless.

She expressed her discomfort, saying it’s upsetting for her to imagine Honey and Haven’s small faces on that passport. It really angers her!

Christian added, ‘We also prayed that the fear of God would fall upon them.’

Roberts hoped that the robbers ‘would be vomiting’ over the guilt they must feel.

She expressed, ‘I hoped that this would prompt them towards repentance, causing them to pick up a Bible with a newfound Christian faith and experience a sense of God’s awe. However, I can’t say for certain whether or not my wish came true.’

Having shattered windows also meant they had to drive that way all the way to Atlanta.

‘The girls were scared,’ Sadie said.

Honey was terrified when she realized that some mischievous individuals had smashed their windows and stolen her father’s belongings. Her concern for her father’s possessions was palpable, and it left her feeling quite distressed… It was truly heartbreaking. We had to console her repeatedly, explaining why such a thing might happen.

That led to Robertson having to explain to her daughter that some people are not kind.

She pointed out that this situation offered us a chance to demonstrate our faith in God and our beliefs, while also providing us with stability. If not for the children, she admitted, she would have felt much more afraid.

I, being a devoted follower, am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my third child alongside Christian. We’ve already been blessed with our lovely daughter Honey, who joined us in May 2021, and our beautiful girl Haven, who was born in May 2023.

Robertson expressed on Instagram, ‘Our hearts are bursting with joy! A new addition is coming to the Huff family.’

Her grandfather Phil died in May at age 79.

Sadie rose to fame on her family’s reality show Duck Dynasty, which aired from 2012 to 2017.

The program primarily focused on Phil Robertson, his spouse, known as Miss Kay, and their entire family, who managed Phil’s vast duck call business worth millions of dollars.

Sadie is the daughter of show stars, Willie and Korie Robertson.

The popular TV series, “Duck Dynasty,” is coming back on our small screens, as A&E has officially declared its return titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” This comeback will span over two seasons with a total of 20 episodes set to air this summer.

In the upcoming installments, we’ll shine a light on Willie and Korie Robertson, now encompassed by their expanding brood of grown-up kids and grandkids, as they guide the following generation in managing the family venture, Duck Commander.

Enthusiasts of the cherished television series that was once cable TV’s most successful unscripted show can anticipate the comeback of Uncle Si and Miss Kay Robertson, joined by their grandchildren – John Luke, Sadie, Willie Jr., Bella, and Rebecca – led by Willie and Korie.
