Katy Perry disclosed an uncommon practice she follows before each show, as she gets ready for her Lifetimes Tour in Canada.

Recently, she turned 40 and posted an unusual video on Instagram that showcased her unique pre-performance ritual. In this video, she dipped her face into ice-cold water, which added a captivating twist to the story of her preparation for a show.

In this video, she submerged her face into a chilly water-filled bowl, exhaling through a blue tube at the same time. She also measured the duration she could keep her face immersed in the frigid water.

After spending 18 seconds, Katy removed her flushed face from the cold water, took a brief dip for another 8 seconds, and then announced that she had finished.
