The tanks D.Va, Orisa, Reinhardt, Sigma, and Winston have received updates. Specifically, Orisa’s armor health has been reduced, as well as the cooldown time for Energy Javelin. This means that she is less effective at countering Zarya now. On the other hand, Winston’s Short Circuit ability is now a more powerful tool against Torbjorn and Symmetra turrets.

After making changes, characters such as Ashe, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Reaper, and Tracer (alongside Freja) received adjustments, with Freja and Tracer receiving specific toning-down or “nerfs”. The spread of Tracer’s Pulse Pistols widened slightly from 3.0 to 3.5 degrees, while Freja’s primary fire took a hit in terms of damage output. On the positive side, Freja’s maximum ammo capacity was boosted from 12 to 15 units. For Widowmaker enthusiasts or those who dislike her, the cost of her ultimate ability has been reduced by 10%.

Regarding healing characters like Zenyatta, they made a significant improvement to encourage players to heal more frequently. In contrast, changes were made to Lucio’s ultimate, making it less costly, but his primary fire now has increased range. The Glide Boost ability of Juno, however, will move slower when changing direction in the air.
Suravasa and New Junk City reworks
In the mid-season update, not only were balance adjustments made for our heroes, but two Flashpoint maps underwent a facelift. The developers incorporated boxes into the Market area’s walls, offering players a smoother path to higher ground. They also adjusted entrances near Temple and Ruins for a more intuitive design, and even introduced a new back route for these locations. Lastly, the starting spawn areas were revamped with open walls and gardens, enhancing visibility.
Regarding New Junk City, each aspect has been revamped to enhance its flow and clarity. The Hammer Mill entrance in Arena has been expanded and additional corridors have been constructed for safer rotations. Subsequently, the pathing and visuals in Bomb Flats have been polished to facilitate better combat encounters. Additionally, navigation in The Ducts and Junkyard has been improved, and the heights of buildings in the Exterior area were lowered and streamlined to aid in navigation once more.
