Raven-Symone shares emotional tribute to Cosby Show co-star Malcom-Jamal Warner after his shock death

After the sad passing of his longtime companion, Raven-Symoné finally speaks out about it.

On Sunday, the 54-year-old actor tragically passed away due to a drowning incident during a family vacation in Costa Rica.

From 1989 to 1992, Raven-Symoné, now 39 years old, played the sharp and quick-witted stepdaughter of Lisa Bonet’s character Denise on The Cosby Show, named Olivia Kendall.

As a connoisseur of style, I had the privilege of playing Theo Huxtable, the eldest child of Cliff and Claire, on the beloved sitcom that graced our screens from 1984 to 1992.

On Tuesday, the actress famed from That’s So Raven posted an expression of sorrow, sharing an image displaying the words ‘I love you’, featuring a white dove on a dark backdrop, along with a prerecorded message intended for Warner’s relatives and admirers.

‘I cannot describe the pain and sadness and surprise I feel with the recent loss of MJW,’ she said.

She described her friend as being a big brother figure, a guiding light, exceptionally versatile and gifted, and incredibly kind.

She expressed her love and support, sending them warmth through her words, thoughts, and affectionate gestures – embraces and kisses,” she stated.

Reflecting on my cherished colleague, I must express that his guidance was unparalleled and his warm embraces were simply the best.

Struggling to hold back tears, she went on to say, “And that radiant, blindingly white grin of his will remain etched in our memories forever. I adore you and believe you are guarding us from above.

She ended the message with a sorrowful, ‘Bye Malcolm.’

55-year-old model Naomi Campbell, who graced two episodes of ‘The Cosby Show’ back in 1988, expressed on social media with a heartfelt tone that being part of the show was an unforgettable dream realized for her, following the passing of the series’ iconic figure.

The supermodel expressed her aspiration to her mother and casting agent Bethann Hardison: “One day, I hope to appear on that show. I dream of being on The Cosby Show. As soon as I reach New York, I plan to make it happen.

Campbell expressed that he didn’t really think he would make it to New York, not just visit, but also have the opportunity to walk onto the set of The Cosby Show, which was actually filmed at Astoria Studios in Queens.

Afterward, she wrote him a note saying, “I sadly take my leave, Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

In the television series, I portrayed a college buddy, while behind the scenes, we were all associated with an influential establishment that molded a generation.

Reworking it a bit, the sentence could be: “The Cosby Show played a significant role in shaping culture, and watching Theo’s character felt like growing up alongside a close friend.

After that, she spoke to those who were left behind, penning, ‘I extend my sincere sympathies to his family, his dear ones, and to everyone who recognized a piece of themselves in him. With heavy hearts, we acknowledge that Theo is no longer with us, and we shall cherish his memory.’

‘May he rest in the highest peace.❤️’

NBC News reports that anonymously identified as his spouse has initiated arrangements for bringing his remains back to the United States, in preparation for an upcoming funeral service.
