The Fantastic Four’s Joseph Quinn Reveals MCU Star He Wants to Team-Up With

Before the U.S. premiere of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, Joseph Quinn has disclosed which Marvel Cinematic Universe actor he’d prefer to collaborate with on future projects. In the upcoming superhero film, Quinn will be making his MCU debut as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, a character who was previously portrayed by Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan in Fox’s two Fantastic Four movies.

The Fantastic Four star shares his love for Spider-Man

In the comic books, Johnny Storm is particularly recognized for his deep bond with Spider-Man. For the first time, Marvel fans witnessed this dynamic duo’s relationship in 1963’s Amazing Spider-Man, during which Johnny initially didn’t find Spider-Man all that impressive. But over time, they managed to develop a strong friendship.

When talking to THR, the Stranger Things actor enthusiastically agreed about the potential of seeing the Human Torch and Spider-Man together in live-action, commending Tom Holland’s impressive portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Quinn expressed agreement with the pairing, praising the individual involved as exceptionally talented. He mentioned that he believed they would enjoy each other’s company, having never met this person before. He went on to say that in his opinion, this person gave an outstanding portrayal of Peter Parker and was the greatest Spider-Man yet. So, Quinn was open to the idea and encouraged moving forward with it.

The First Journey of Fantastic Four

Directed by Matt Shakman, known for his work on the WandaVision miniseries, this upcoming film features Pedro Pascal portraying Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach stepping into the role of Ben Grimm/The Thing. The ensemble cast also includes Julia Garner (from Ozark), who takes on the Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson (from Harry Potter) as Galactus, Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), and Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird).

The movie is expected to arrive in U.S. theaters this Friday, July 25.
