Nicole Kidman’s nepo baby niece Lucia Hawley begs for a job as she reveals she is unemployed after quitting her TV gig in Australia and moving to London

Nicole Kidman’s niece, Lucia Hawley, has disclosed that she is currently jobless following her daring decision to reside in London.

The 26-year-old gave up her role as host of 7Bravo in Australia and relocated overseas last month.

In her most recent Substack post, she discussed the difficulties that come with beginning anew in a different nation while lacking employment.

On June 18th, she announced her relocation to London, though on a practical level, it seems a rather foolish choice, and truthfully, it fills her with apprehension (a job opportunity would be greatly appreciated).

As a prudent individual, I find myself strongly resistant to venturing abroad or finding myself jobless. The thought of such situations triggers an instinctive response in me that feels like my system is naturally wired against them.

Lucia admitted that parting ways with her boyfriend Henry and her younger siblings was a deeply distressing experience for her.

Parting ways with Henry was extraordinarily challenging (Airport farewells leave me emotionally scarred). The emotional turmoil intensified when it came to bidding adieu to my family; I exchanged tearful goodbye kisses with my little brothers, she concluded, adding more tears to the mix.

As a conscientious supporter, I can share that after much contemplation, I concluded it was a tough call, but deep down, I trusted it was in my best interest in the long run.

As an ardent enthusiast, I can’t help but express that this experience is electrifying, liberating, and somehow encapsulates the essence of living itself. To me, home isn’t a physical location; it’s a sense of belonging… A robust community of individuals who stand by you unconditionally empowers you to traverse the world with courage and self-belief. This is what she penned down.

In December, it was revealed that Bella Varelis, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, will take over as the host of 7Bravo, filling the position left vacant by Lucia’s departure.

On Locky Gilbert’s season of The Bachelor, Bella finished as the first runner-up. Now, she has taken over as the local host on the channel and serves as the main representative for Live From E!’s red carpet events in Australia.

Chris Taylor, Managing Director for NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer and Distribution in Australia & New Zealand, expressed excitement: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Bella as our new 7Bravo host, taking on this highly sought-after position.’

In my role as a trusted voice at 7Bravo, I wholeheartedly believe that the radiant charm, boundless enthusiasm, impeccable style, and deep knowledge she exhibits on screen will continue to captivate both viewers and industry peers.

According to Channel Seven, Lucia will be leaving her position by the end of this year to pursue different ventures, having served for two years.

Lucia is the eldest child of Nicole Kidman’s sister Antonia and her ex-husband Angus.

She started her TV career after studying Arts at the elite University of Sydney.

After earning her degree and completing an internship at Vogue Australia, she began working as an assistant at a production company. Subsequently, she pursued a job opportunity at 9Honey, which is part of Channel Nine’s women’s division.

She eventually landed a role with NBC Universal – who launched 7Bravo in 2022.
