Doctor Who star confirmed for new British mystery crime drama set in the Peak District
Actress Mandip Gill, famously known for her role in “Doctor Who,” will team up with another actor from “Downton Abbey” in the upcoming series titled “Cooper and Fry.” In this new show, she’ll be joining forces with a familiar face.
In the role that won him fame as beloved character Yaz Khan alongside Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor, Gill is now set to star in a fresh crime drama based on Stephen Booth’s book series, taking on the role in its fifth adaptation.
Cooper and Fry pair up with Robert James-Collier from ‘Downton Abbey’ in their roles as the main, seemingly incongruous detectives.
