MOONTON Games has shared exciting news: their widely played Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang or MLBB, will soon have a high-quality animated series. This series is inspired by the continually expanding universe of the game. They’ve unveiled a strategic collaboration with The Little Black Book Studios (TLBBS) and renowned production house Base Media.

MLBB’s animated debut backed by award-winning creative powerhouse

It turns out that MLBB will be receiving an animated series, which is being produced by TLBBS. The animation and visual effects are being handled by Base Media. What’s even more exciting is that the same talented team responsible for films like “Ne Zha 2”, “Wish Dragon”, and numerous projects on Marvel/Disney+ is working on this animated series.

As a fervent admirer, I can hardly contain my enthusiasm as I anticipate the breathtaking portrayal of Dawn’s Land’s legendary heroes, awe-inspiring landscapes, and enthralling lore. Frankly, it’s a delight to witness more mobile games, such as Honor of Kings: Destiny and the Free Fire anime, extending their universes into animated series. Here’s hoping this trend continues and expands across other titles as well!

Industry veterans unite to bring MLBB’s universe to life

Chris Bremble, founder and CEO of Base Media, expressed his thrill, stating, “Working with the MOONTON Games team has been an exhilarating ride, getting a glimpse into their story development and strategies for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang universe.” He further noted that such challenges are exactly what his team looks forward to.

Ross Leo, Co-Founder of TLBBB’S, referred to the series as their “most significant undertaking so far.” Cherry Xia, Head of Publishing at MOONTON Games, emphasized that this series represents a new journey for them in exploring the MLBB universe on a “distinct entertainment platform.

Additionally, this collaboration encompasses ambitious marketing strategies, including a massive promotional campaign and exclusive product line. To be frank, I’m thrilled about it! However, we must exercise patience as we await further details such as the series title, distribution channels, and launch date. These will be unveiled soon.
