Paul Hogan has revealed his plans to return to Australia before he dies.

The celebrity expresses his desire to go back to Australia at the earliest convenience, and he also intends for his remains to be scattered in Sydney.

Paul returned Down Under in May for a month-long holiday, amid reports he’s moving home for good.

The iconic actor has expressed that he stays stateside to care for his son, Chance, 27.

On Monday, Hogan shared with 7NEWS that he’s choosing to stay in the U.S. temporarily, as he wants to assist his son, whom he called “Chance,” through his professional journey, given his current challenges.

Hogan mentioned that he’s working hard on his professional growth, and once he succeeds, he plans to return.”

Or alternatively, “Hogan stated that he is currently focusing on advancing his career, and when he has achieved this goal, he intends to come back.

‘Unless he comes with me, I will be back sooner,’ he added.

Paul shares son Chance with second wife Linda Kozlowski, who was his Crocodile Dundee co-star.

According to a recent report, Hogan may soon return home, with his son’s blessing.

According to a source, Paul was noticeably healthier than he’d been in quite some time, and even Chance concurred that their trip to Australia had benefited them greatly. (New Idea)

‘Chance has long known he’s the reason why Paul remains in the States,’ they continued.

However, this latest journey served as an eye-opener. He’s come to realize the significance of his father spending his later years at familiar grounds. He now holds the conviction that it could lengthen his lifespan.

Since their divorce in 2014, following 24 years of marriage, Chance has resided with his father in Los Angeles.

Hogan recently shared details of his relationship with his wayward son.

As a seasoned lifestyle connoisseur, I recently had the pleasure of engaging in conversation with the esteemed entertainment editor of The Today Show, Richard Wilkins, discussing a fresh take on an iconic movie that I once starred in – none other than the unforgettable Crocodile Dundee.

Hoges expressed his desire to establish a long-term residence in Australia again, yet he remains in the United States due to his youngest child, Chance.

He said, “That’s where I feel at home,” when asked about his feelings upon returning to Australia for promoting the movie.

As a devoted admirer, when the nine-host inquired about my future plans regarding a potential move to Australia, I casually responded, “Why, tomorrow!

However for the time being he needs to remain in Los Angeles.

‘I have business reasons and my son to stay in the States for now,’ he said.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say, “I’m glad you asked. He’s making progress, albeit slowly. We’re taking it one day at a time.

‘He’s frequently in the spotlight due to gossip magazines, yet his true nature is despicable. This is because he’s fully aware that he’s being observed, and deliberately behaves in a manner intended to entertain others.’

Chance sparked concern for his welfare back in January.

He posted videos on his Instagram Stories, showing him drinking wine and speaking with a noticeable slur while seated in a public area.

Hogan made the move to settle with former wife Kozlowski in Los Angeles in the ’90s.

After achieving fame with the hit 1986 action-comedy film “Crocodile Dundee,” the renowned movie star, hailing from Sydney, decided to leave his native land behind.
