Lisa Wilkinson is caught in her own ‘Coldplay kiss cam’ moment – but all is not what it seems

Currently, the situation is that Lisa Wilkinson found herself in a playful moment reminiscent of a ‘kiss cam’ incident at a Coldplay concert – even though it was just for amusement.

Last Saturday evening, I found myself immersed in the hilarious comedy performance of American comedian Nikki Glaser. During her act, she cleverly incorporated a humorous jab at Andy Byron, the Astronomer CEO, who was recently spotted getting cozy with the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, at a Coldplay concert. As an ardent fan, it was both entertaining and intriguing to witness this unexpected twist in the limelight!

At the event, Glaser operated a personalized kiss-cam, scanning through the audience during an entertaining segment of audience interaction.

She asked, “Is there another one available? Shall we get a closer look?” as the camera focused on Lisa, snuggled up by comedian Hamish Blake.

Lisa and Hamish were clearly having a laugh, with Lisa later sharing the footage on Instagram. 

‘Bloody cameras are everywhere!’ she joked in her caption alongside the clip. 

Following reports that Andy Byron stepped down under a cloud, due to an ongoing probe into the scandal.

50-year-old Byron resigned following his temporary suspension, which occurred on Friday, after footage emerged of him embracing Cabot at a recent concert.

The billion-dollar company announced the CEO’s resignation in a statement on Saturday. 

Previously mentioned, Astronomer stands firm on the principles and ethos that have been our compass since our establishment.

It’s been observed that our leaders should lead by example, demonstrating integrity and responsibility at all times. Regrettably, it appears that this standard has fallen short of expectations lately.

‘Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.’ 

At a Coldplay concert in Boston on Tuesday, Byron and Cabot found themselves blushing when the kiss cam captured them, with the CEO embracing his colleague.

After noticing their images on the large monitor, the duo swiftly leaned away and hid from the cameras.
