Olly Murs FAILS to show up for work following wild night partying into the early hours after the release of new song Save Me as Mark Wright is left hosting radio show solo
On Saturday morning, Olly Murs was absent from his radio show due to overindulging in festivities the previous night while celebrating the launch of his new track, Save Me.
Previously known X Factor contestant, aged 41, unexpectedly failed to appear for the Heart Breakfast program, causing his co-host Mark Wright some inconvenience.
He normally wakes up the capital alongside ex-TOWIE star Mark from 9am-12pm on Saturday mornings.
However, Olly confessed to his followers that the performance on Saturday was a washout as he woke up with a pounding headache following an exhilarating night of celebrations.
On Instagram, Olly posted: “Last night was absolutely wild! I may have overdone it a tad while rejoicing over our upcoming single release with the guys…
‘Also seem to have lost my wallet if anyone finds it.’

Mark was left alone to host the show because Heart posted a picture of him looking confused while searching for Olly, and it was discovered later that Mark’s party activities were filmed by security cameras.
Demonstrating a joyful moment from Olly, Mark said, ‘If you’ve tuned into Heart radio this morning, you’d recognize that my fellow host, Olly Murs, is absent today. But let me share with you how he was enjoying himself…’
It seems that no one knew his whereabouts. However, we’ve recently received some information: He was spotted outside last night, captured on security cameras in a bar or pub.
It’s clear he’s not around, probably due to a late-night affair and failing to make it to the studio. Kudos to Olly Murs for maintaining his professionalism; I appreciate that attitude. Absolutely, well done!
In a re-post on Instagram, Olly from Heart Breakfast mentioned: ‘I can hardly believe I missed the program today! My head really aches!’
Olly’s new single will be released on 25 July – and it’s his first since 2022.
In December 2022, the expectant father released his seventh studio album titled “Marry Me.” This album included his chart-topping return single that reached No. 1 on the UK charts.
Recently, Olly’s schedule has been quite packed, following the announcement that his wife, Amelia, is expecting their second baby.

In April, the parents who had their first child, Madison, in May, announced on Instagram that they are expecting another baby soon.
After his radio broadcast, Olly shared for the first time that he was going to be a father once more. He confessed that he hadn’t anticipated it would happen so swiftly.
As his pal Mark congratulated him on the news, he asked the star how ‘buzzing’ he was.
Olly responded: “Friend, it feels like one of those stretches where you just don’t share much with others. But let me tell you, we’ve had some truly thrilling developments!
We weren’t anticipating such swift events, but wow, incredible! We’re simply yearning to expand our small household.
As an overjoyed fan, allow me to express my admiration: You two are truly outstanding parents to Maddie, and hearing about your upcoming addition to the family is nothing short of extraordinary! The thought of another precious member joining your clan has me beaming with excitement. I hold a deep affection for you and your entire family, and I can’t help but feel an immense sense of joy and anticipation for what’s to come. Keep shining, my friends! 💛❤️🎉
‘So I’m going to be at the start soon,’ Olly laughed.
Mark playfully remarked, “It seems like you’ll find yourself in a situation similar to mine from a few weeks back. Now, I might just tease you about those restless nights.
