Myleene Klass shares heartfelt tribute to her old school where she now works as a fire tears through the building – just days after she received her MBE

As an ardent admirer of Myleene Klass, I can’t help but share this heartfelt tribute myself. You see, she has paid homage to her alma mater, a place where our paths crossed recently, after it was sadly evacuated last Friday due to a devastating fire that ravaged the institution.

Emergency responders were summoned to Cliff Park Primary Academy in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk around 1 pm on a Friday afternoon.

As students rejoiced on the last day of school before summer break, a fire suddenly broke out, necessitating the evacuation of everyone for safety reasons.

Currently, Myleene Klass, aged 47, disclosed that the school under discussion is actually her former school, a place where she currently guides and inspires students as a mentor.

Sharing on her Instagram Stories, the television host posted a picture of the fire, with dark plumes of smoke rising high above.

She wrote: ‘This is my old state school that I now mentor at.

To the teachers and students at Cliff Park, it’s wonderful to hear that everyone is safe. I’ve heard great things about the fantastic work your teachers did in ensuring everyone was safely evacuated.

‘I’m sorry your last day of term looked like this, I’m relieved you’re all ok. Sending my love.’

In her subsequent message, Myleene forwarded an article on the fire incident, commending her coworkers and educators by saying: “Great job yet again by my peers and instructors in ensuring the kids were evacuated safely.

The Norfolk Police Department confirmed that every child was found and securely moved out of the building.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service stated that they dispatched teams from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Acle, and Carrow, along with their Control Unit from Wymondham and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Great Yarmouth.

‘The fire is under control, no-one has been injured.

‘We’d like to thank the school for performing a quick and full evacuation.

At first, the teams deployed preventive fire-extinguishing methods to swiftly quell the blaze, and currently, they’re working on dousing the flames to ensure it doesn’t reignite.

‘The cause of the fire is currently unknown and an investigation has already started.’

At approximately 1:20 PM today, the police were summoned to Orde Avenue, Gorleston, to aid the fire department. The reason for their presence was a fire that had broken out in a local school.

‘Kennedy Avenue and Bridge Road were closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.

‘No one was injured.’

This statement is made a few days following Myleene receiving an MBE in recognition of her contributions towards women’s health, raising awareness about miscarriages, and charitable work, during an investiture ceremony on Wednesday.

Later, Myleene posted an Instagram video showcasing the best moments of the party. However, it seemed like her five-year-old son, Apollo, was the true VIP, as he played a crucial role during the entire event.

The star seemed incredibly proud of her success, evident in photos showing her celebrating joyously with friends, such as Christine Lampard, as well as the Appleton sisters, Nicole and Natalie.

A beautiful two-level cake adorned with a regal-looking topper was crafted, and various photographic accessories fit for a king or queen filled the space, as Myleene enjoyed herself and captured the moments on video.
