Mattel is set to make a grand entrance at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with an exceptional collectible from Jurassic World: the Hammond Collection Tyrannosaurus Rex, dubbed “Comic-Con Crasher.” This limited edition figure draws inspiration from the thrilling T. rex rampage in The Lost World: Jurassic Park that occurred in San Diego, depicting the Buck T. rex in a scene where it invades Comic-Con and interacts with a passionate cosplay fan.

This intricately designed figurine boasts glass eyes, appropriately sized feet, a movable rubber tongue, and stands at approximately 9.72 inches tall and 24.35 inches long. Accompanying it is a miniature enthusiast figure, measuring 5.72 inches, dressed in an inflatable T-rex suit, including two interchangeable heads.

Enhancing its appeal as a collectible, you’ll find a smaller T-rex figurine, a Jurassic Park themed tote bag, convention merchandise, and a humorous fabric banner resembling the famous “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth” sign. The packaging is an integral part of the experience; the outer box showcases late ’90s tech design influences, while the inner box is a miniature recreation of the San Diego Convention Center in diorama style.

The “Convention Crasher” collection will be available on July 24th for $85 USD each, exclusively through Mattel Creations, and customers are only allowed to purchase up to two items.
