Oasis lost tracks uncovered as songs from Be Here Now era are heard for the first time and fan hails one ‘Noel’s best ever’
Three previously unheard Oasis songs from their Be Here Now period have been discovered on an old, lost recording tape. One devoted fan believes that one of these tracks might rank among Noel Gallagher’s finest compositions.
In a long-forgotten DAT tape marked ‘B-sides,’ dating back to 1998 – approximately when their hit single “All Around The World” was released – lies a collection of lesser-known tracks, all skillfully performed by Noel himself.
Kyle Dale, who belongs to the Oasis collectors group, unearthed the finding and passed on the audio recordings to Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, the original guitarist for Oasis, who currently performs with the Oasis tribute band Live Forever – Oasis Live 25.
On the Oasis Podcast, Kyle shared an intriguing discovery he made regarding a mysterious recording. He mentioned that the tape was supposed to be seven minutes long but turned out to be 55 minutes instead. This immediately piqued his interest because it wasn’t part of the existing archive; it had been missing for over two decades.
As per Kyle, the recording includes an exceptional track titled “I’m Alive,” which he thinks would be successful if it were released now.
As an ardent admirer, I’m bursting to share what Kyle disclosed: ‘I handed those tracks over to Bonehead, you see. The tale goes that Noel would record them on a cassette and distribute copies among the band members. They would listen, make adjustments, and then revisit the recordings.’

As Bonehead tuned in, the devoted fan pointed out that certain tunes brought back memories for him, while others were entirely new to his ears.
But when he got to I’m Alive, he stopped in his tracks and listened to it.’
Kyle commented by stating, “I said that song is one of the best Noel has ever written. It’s incredible… if they released it today, it would soar.
In another song, they incorporated a well-known melody that eventually appeared in their hit single “Go Let It Out” from 2000. This offers listeners an unusual peek into how Oasis’ music was developing during that timeframe.
Additionally, this uncommon recording features a sample of Flashbax, as well as renditions of “Tomorrow Never Knows” by The Beatles and “Street Fighting Man” by The Rolling Stones.
Regardless of receiving a £20,000 offer, Kyle chose not to sell the tape and instead shared digital versions with Noel directly.
However, the previous lead singer of Oasis, during an interview on the Matt Morgan Podcast, remained unperturbed as he revealed that a fan had given him a USB stick, but hadn’t yet taken the time to listen to its contents.
‘It’s not something that interests me, if I’m being honest’ he’d said.

After Noel passed by without being noticed by London Underground passengers, he spent some pleasant moments revisiting his hometown.
58-year-old music legend and his 52-year-old brother have reconciled, embarking together on a global tour, setting aside their 16-year old disagreement.
Following the completion of their second evening’s performance in Manchester, it seemed that Noel headed back to his residence in North London, gearing up for their upcoming show further north on Wednesday, July 16.
On Tuesday, a TikTok video shared by loisinthenorth showed Noel exiting a practically vacant subway car without anyone immediately crowding around him, even though he’s well-known as an A-lister.
He chose a casual, understated look – a navy t-shirt and pants – while donning silver-framed sunglasses, hoping to hide his identity subtly.
The person who uploaded the video titled it: ‘Perspective: You’re boarding a train at Paddington Station, heading towards Baker Street, only to run into…’
After the news broke about Noel and Liam planning to spend £200,000 on a grand celebration following their concerts in London.
Following a gap of sixteen years, Oasis has come together once more for an impressive tour spanning forty-one shows throughout Europe. This tour will feature seven concerts specifically in London, starting from July 25 and concluding on September 28.
It’s said that the brothers are planning an extraordinary party in September to mark the end of the initial leg of their reunion tour, which they’ll be hosting alongside their famous friends.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share this exciting tidbit: I’ve heard it on good authority that Liam and Noel are making a conscious effort to abstain from alcohol and late-night festivities during their current tour. The reason? To safeguard the powerhouses of sound that are their voices! Here’s to a fantastic performance, gentlemen!
They’re excited to reconnect with friends in September, after the tour’s triumph. Rest assured, there will be no holding back on expenses, and those invited should anticipate a top-notch, VIP experience.
