Over the past 18 years of their marriage, Hollywood veterans Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have shared an unconventional approach to managing their financial affairs.

Hollywood vets Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have opened up about the unique method they employ for handling their finances during their 18-year marriage.

The 52-year-old actress, known lately for her striking youthfulness, and her 51-year-old husband have disclosed that they have chosen to keep their financial details private, even after being married for almost twenty years.

On a recent appearance on Andy Cohen Live on Sirius XM, I shared that my partner and I maintain our finances independently, a fact that might come as a surprise to some.

She did note that the longtime couple do share a ‘community pot’ for family expenses. 

Romijn mentioned, “It’s similar to one of the initial discussions you have when choosing to establish a legal contract together.

The parents, who are the proud guardians of 16-year-old twins named Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, clarified that they each add to this common fund on a quarterly basis.

O’Connell stated, “At times, we deliberately limit the amount of funds we deposit into that particular account.

Romijn added that the amounts contributed are dependent ‘on who’s working more.’ 

She pointed out that the one not currently employed enjoys a slight respite, while the one who is employed contributes a bit extra.

‘And we really tag-team with work.’

Actress Ugly Betty shared that both she and her fellow actor have consistently maintained a balanced approach towards careers and families throughout their professional journey.

In simpler terms, she mentioned that following the arrival of their twin babies, both of them decided that one would consistently be at home caring for their daughter, allowing the other to continue working.

Romijn added: ‘So, no one else is ever going to raise them besides us.’

In the year 2004, O’Connell and Romijn first crossed paths, followed by an engagement a year later in 2005, and finally tied the knot in 2007. Their family expanded with the arrival of their children in 2008.

Before O’Connell, Romijn was married to John Stamos from 1998 until 2005. 

A few days ago, Rebecca appeared considerably younger than her actual age at a function linked to her new television venture in Toronto this week.

The actress, recognized from significant films such as X-Men, Femme Fatale, and The Punisher, has been featured in Strange New Worlds, a Star Trek offshoot, starting from 2022.

Romijn showcased her smooth, unwrinkled skin while striking poses at the season three premiere of the Paramount+ show on Thursday evening.

Recently, her youthful look has sparked widespread attention online, with admirers commending the stunning brunette for maintaining a graceful appearance as she progresses through more than three decades in her professional life.

On the debut for Thursday, Romijn accentuated her innate charm with a radiant complexion and delicate, feminine eyeliner.

She embraced her natural blonde curls for the starry evening held at Shangri-La Toronto.

Regarding her attire, Romijn confidently displayed her sun-kissed and well-sculpted legs in a crisp pair of white shorts. She complemented this look with sandal-like shoes in a soft pink suede shade.

She also rocked a see-through, pink blouse with elegant bell sleeves.

Romijn plays humanoid Una Chin-Riley aka ‘Number One’ on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

The series that debuted on Paramount+ in 2022 is a spin-off from Star Trek: Discovery, where Romijn reprised her role from 2019.

In the same year, she once again took on the role for a separate Star Trek story titled “Star Trek: Short Treks.

In the science fiction world, Romijn isn’t a newcomer; she gained prominence by portraying Mystique in the X-Men movie series during the 2000s.

Romijn initially made her mark in Hollywood by appearing in the classic New Kids on the Block music video, “Please Don’t Go Girl,” all the way back in 1988. At that time, she was just 16 years old.

She then went on to become a very successful model.

Romijn graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition not once but twice, in 1996 and 2006. Additionally, she made appearances on the covers of prestigious publications such as Elle, GQ, and Marie Claire.

Meanwhile O’Connell’s latest gig was as host of CBS morning news and chat show The Talk.

In 2021, he stepped into the role previously held by Sharon Osbourne following numerous guest co-hosting stints. The show wrapped up its 15-season journey in December 2024.

Apart from his notable conversation known as “The Talk”, he’s also achieved significant fame on television. For instance, he was a key cast member on the sci-fi series Sliders (1995-1999), and currently, he hosts the game show Pictionary, which debuted in 2022.
