This week, Chrissy Metz showcased her impressive weight loss journey at the Lifetime Summer Soirée held in Santa Monica, California, with grace and confidence.

44-year-old actress from This Is Us radiated summer charm in a striking tie-dye dress during the red carpet event, proudly showcasing her remarkable 100-pound weight loss.

Following her disclosure about the methods behind her svelte physique, the actress’ impressive presentation took place, as she had shared some insights during a private chat with DailyMail.com.

On the eve of the television premiere of Faith In The Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story, airing on Lifetime on July 19th, Metz arrived spectacularly at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel.

At her Summer party event, she wore a dress in a striking navy blue color, adorned with horizontal stripes that interchanged between shades of robin egg blue, gold, and amber, reminiscent of the tie-dye technique.

Metz complemented the shiny gown with elegant black sandals that opened at the toes, and she brought a touch of vibrancy with her bright red nail polish and lipstick to match.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I often find myself admiring the chic hairstyles of celebrities. Today, I decided to emulate the elegant look of an actress I adore. I styled my medium-length brunette hair by parting it down the middle and allowing the lush, wavy strands to cascade gracefully over my shoulders.

Speaking with DailyMail.com, Chrissy shared that she’s been incorporating weightlifting into her wellness routine for the past few months as a crucial component of her health transformation.

At the celebration, actress Kat Graham from The Vampire Diaries, dressed in a festive cream-colored satin gown adorned with tasseled sleeves and a see-through skirt, joined Metz.

She also posed with the inspiration for her upcoming lifetime film, the real-life Nichole Jolly. 

Jolly was part of a team of brave nurses providing care to patients during the catastrophic Camp Fire, which wiped out large parts of Paradise and neighboring towns in Butte County, northern California, in November 2018.

The nurse, who was registered, worked diligently on evacuating hospital patients from Feather River, as she prepared to flee from the rapidly advancing fire.

At the specified moment, she relayed to ABC News that she had contacted her family, expressing her anxiety about not surviving the fire, prior to another driver crashing into her car from behind and sending it off the road. This event compelled her to abandon her vehicle and escape on foot.

Flames from falling charred particles ignited her trousers, and she sought shelter in a car that happened to be parked, occupied by a doctor from the hospital. However, the vehicle quickly became filled with harmful fumes, forcing her to flee yet again.

‘I thought I was gonna die right there,’ the nurse recalled. ‘There was no oxygen.’ 

However, she darted directly towards an astonishing event when a nearby fire team witnessed her predicament and halted their progress to thoroughly douse the flames on her attire, then safely rescued her.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m deeply saddened to share that while I personally managed to escape with just minor burns and blisters, the devastating wildfire we faced took an unimaginable toll on our community. Tragically, 85 of my neighbors didn’t make it, leaving behind empty homes and broken hearts. Over 50,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, and more than 18,000 buildings that once stood proudly have now been reduced to little more than ash and rubble. This disaster has left an indelible mark on us all, and I can’t help but feel a profound sense of loss and sorrow for those affected.

In Metz’s words, as reported by JubileeCast, Nichole’s courage and selflessness, especially during times of chaos, is a quality we don’t encounter often. Her tale serves as a reminder that faith isn’t just an idea; it’s what we hold onto when we have nothing else left.

Faith In The Flames premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, July 19, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
