Serena Williams fans scream she’s ‘too thin’ in racy bikini snaps from steamy yacht shoot
Fans were split over the recent Instagram post by Serena Williams, which featured some alluring photos of her in a swimsuit, captured during a lavish yacht vacation.
43-year-old legendary tennis player, who lately shared images highlighting her fit physique, increased the temperature on a recent Thursday by displaying her radiant post-career transformation.
In an instant, the Wimbledon champion gracefully posed in a stylish manner, lifting her arm to display her toned abdomen and well-defined figure, much like a professional swimsuit model might.
A different picture depicted her seated precariously on the boat’s edge, adorned in a diaphanous sarong and a bikini top, against a breathtaking backdrop of the sea reminiscent of a postcard scene.
Tonight, my friends and I will be out on the streets, but our adventure begins right here, as Serena captioned the series of photos. These images offer a sneak peek into our stylish yacht-bound company.
In my perspective as a lifestyle enthusiast, while many admired her recent style, there were those who didn’t hesitate to voice their opinions – suggesting that the superstar had undergone an excessive transformation in her physique.

‘She’s too thin… why?’ one critic asked, sparking a heated back-and-forth in the comments.
During the heated discussion, some enthusiasts commended the celebrity’s latest appearance, whereas others expressed that it was difficult for them to identify her.
One fan chimed in, ‘She’s definitely not thick anymore.’
Someone else added, ‘They don’t know that she was even thinner from 1998-2007.’
Of course, many rushed to staunchly defend the superstar.
‘I dunno what ppl talking about she still thick and healthy let her live,’ wrote one.
Another user commented that she appears to have a body shape similar to what it was around the years 2013-2014.
Responding forcefully, they retorted, “Critics constantly criticize Serena for various reasons: she’s too strong, has too much muscle, too slender, her spouse is white, and they accuse her of bleaching her skin.

When they discover that the darkness was merely makeup and lighting making her appear lighter, they had nothing more to add. However, one point to note: Serena continues to live her life as she pleases.
Another option might be: ‘It’s also widely accepted that Serena doesn’t mind her critics one bit. In fact, if she weren’t such a knockout, she probably wouldn’t have any detractors at all. Serena, along with her mother and sister, certainly know how to turn heads!’
Despite the ongoing chatter about her newest style, it’s clear that Serena Williams’ tennis legacy remains a prominent topic in news headlines, whether she’s playing on or off the court.
More recently, this iconic figure last triumphed at a Grand Slam event in 2017 by clinching the Australian Open. However, she came up just shy on two additional occasions when competing in the finals of both the US Open and Wimbledon following her victory.
Throughout her distinguished professional journey, Serena has amassed a record-breaking 23 Grand Slam individual championships (the highest number of any player during the Open Era), and held the top spot as the world’s best for an impressive total of 319 weeks.
In the 2022 US Open, her latest contest was against Ajla Tomljanovic, ending in an intense three-hour, three-set drama. Unfortunately, she fell just short of victory.
Outside of tennis, Serena manages her business endeavors and charitable work while also focusing on her family life, which includes her husband Alexis Ohanian and their two daughters.
On November 16, 2017, she tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis at a glamorous wedding in New Orleans.

In September 2017, the pair happily introduced their initial-born child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., affectionately known as Olympia, into their family.
Five years down the line, Serena welcomed their younger daughter, Adira River Ohanian, into their family, born in August 2023.
In the meantime, Venus, Serena’s elder sibling, continues to play vigorously – the seven-time Grand Slam champion has just been granted a wild card to participate in the DC Open at the age of 45.
Venus, who hasn’t played a tour-level match since March 2024, is proving age is just a number.
