Multiple Australian emergency services have humorously capitalized on the popular Coldplay ‘kiss cam’ incident that left a couple mortified, by creating a collection of amusing memes instead.

On a Wednesday night, Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, surprised two unaware spectators at their Boston performance by zeroing in on them during a “kiss cam” moment at Gillette Stadium.

Overwhelmed with excitement, I couldn’t believe my eyes when that moment became an internet sensation! By Friday, Australian emergency services decided to add a touch of humor to the situation, creatively incorporating the iconic image into a series of witty and playful social media posts.

The New South Wales Police Department posted a humorous, edited photo showing a surprised couple with a blinking police cruiser nearby, alluding to their embarrassed hug that captivated many spectators.

Initially, the memes spread rapidly across the internet; however, they’ve been discreetly removed from all recognized platforms.

After an image of coworkers Andrew Byron and Kristin Cabot was displayed on the large screen during a Coldplay concert in Boston, they both seemed extremely embarrassed.

This prompted Martin to joke they were ‘either having an affair or just very shy’.

In a TikTok video that garnered millions of views, he exclaimed with surprise, “Look at these two! What are they up to?” as they hid their faces and dove behind the safety barricade.

Caught on camera, I found myself beaming ear-to-ear, locked in a warm embrace with my partner, grooving to the rhythm. Suddenly, we seemed to materialize, our image magically appearing on the screen, filling the room as the entire audience watched us dance in sync with the music.

With a flush on her cheeks, the woman hastily hid her face as she retreated from the vantage point, all the while the man swiftly crouched low – as the 48-year-old musician delivered his jest.

The shocked comments made by the CEO of a multibillion-dollar firm, who found himself in a compromising position during a Coldplay concert’s kiss cam, have subsequently come to light.

As he caught sight of himself on the big screen, he appeared to snap ‘f***ing hell, it’s me’.

The band are currently in the US as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

After playing three cities – Madison, Nashville, and Miami – they will then return to the United Kingdom for a series of concerts in August.

Coldplay have topped the list of artist earnings from live concerts this year.
