Oprah Winfrey set for spectacular return to Australia after 15 years for five-date live national tour
Oprah Winfrey will be making her comeback to Australia after a gap of 15 years, embarking on a five-city speaking tour across the nation in November.
In a new development, the legendary American talk-show host, now 71 years old, intends to make several significant live performances throughout the nation. This will be her initial visit to Australia since the year 2010.
It appears that the presenter is expected to participate in five unique, private discussions, which could make this one of the most notable speaking engagements of the year.
The tour is being organized by TEG Dainty, a well-known entertainment company, who are likely handling the event’s organization and coordination.
Oprah is also expected to enjoy a private holiday during her time in the country.

She filmed four episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show at the Sydney Opera House, which was briefly known as the ‘Oprah House’ for that particular cultural event.
300 elated American fans accompanied her on that tour, and it was filled with sensational incidents such as unexpected gifts, a substantial $250,000 contribution to a cancer patient, and the noteworthy incident when Hugh Jackman experienced a hiccup during a live taping while using a zip-line.
The journey, that amounted to $5 million from Australian taxpayer funds, faced criticism initially; however, Oprah defended it as a valuable expenditure for boosting tourism.
Or more concisely:
The $5 million trip sparked criticism but Oprah argued it was beneficial for tourism investment.
The episodes eventually aired in 145 countries, giving global exposure to local landmarks.
Initial reports about her forthcoming visits were made by The Daily Telegraph, as inside sources indicated that the influential figure’s crew has been discreetly arranging venues in various cities.
In 2010, Oprah’s visit to the Sydney Opera House was quite a spectacle, as crowds of people lined the surrounding streets and the courtyard of the renowned waterside structure became filled with them.
Some fans had waited all night for a glimpse of the world’s most famous talk show host.
Australian actor Hugh Jackman suffered an unpleasant gash beneath his eye when he descended a wire from the peak of the Sydney Opera House, landing on a massive open-air stage where Oprah was filming her second Australian show.

Following a momentary interlude, Jackman reappeared on the stage, showing a cast under one eye and a swiftly growing bump.
Luckily, Jackman was feeling fine enough to teach Oprah about enjoying Vegemite, the famous Australian morning spread.
He spread some onto a biscuit and offered it to the TV chat show queen.
Winfrey expressed her liking for it,” she said, followed by another bite and a sip of the exquisite Penfolds Grange, one of Australia’s finest and costliest wines.
Once again, showing her generosity unexpectedly, she presented a check exceeding $100,000 to a couple residing in Sydney, following her emotional viewing of a video where the husband shared his struggle with cancer.
She also gave everyone in the audience a silver necklace with an ‘O’ pendant.
Oprah Winfrey brought along 300 attendees as she traveled to Australia to celebrate the conclusion of her 25th and last season on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Oprah rose to fame as actor in Steven Spielberg’s 1985 hit film The Color Purple.
She later transitioned to television, launching a long and celebrated career as a talk show host.
