In this show, we delve into a clandestine struggle spanning centuries between two hidden forces. One of them aims to dominate human existence, while the other strives to safeguard individual freedom. Furthermore, the characters will be involved in significant historical events as they strive to determine the course of humanity’s future. I find the idea intriguing.
For me, it’s like living a cherished fantasy to be part of this project, having spent my formative years immersed in the tale as Ezio, unearthing hidden mysteries. This intellectual property transcends stealth, combat, and secret blades. If it lives up to its potential, it could become a truly extraordinary experience for us devoted fans.
Showrunners promise a powerful narrative beyond the action of the IP
Patino and Weiner, much like myself being ardent enthusiasts of the series, delved into the emotional underpinnings that drive the game. Their intention is to scrutinize aspects such as identity, faith, and interpersonal relationships. In essence, they believe there’s a fundamental human narrative woven beneath the grandeur, action, and excitement, stating, “Regardless of the scale, the showiness, the parkour, and the adrenaline rush, there lies the foundation for the most crucial type of human tale.

Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s Vice President of Scripted Series, shared that the adaptation has been a long-term project, and he highly commended the creative team. He mentioned that the series is intended to “pay tribute to the legacy of the Assassin’s Creed franchise,” while simultaneously enhancing the experience, which also piques my interest.
I’m genuinely excited for this project and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they get it right. With professionals like Gerard Guillemot and Austin Dill from Ubisoft working on it, my anticipation is sky-high. Honestly, I have a positive vibe about it, and I truly hope it avoids unnecessary and meaningless content related to social issues.
