Fans of the television series “Doctor Who” can look forward to seeing Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston together again in a forthcoming project that promises excitement for everyone!
Previously mentioned, these two familiar faces from the 2005 reboot of Doctor Who – who played the Ninth Doctor and companion Rose Tyler respectively – have returned to the Whoniverse in a fresh collection of audio stories produced by Big Finish.
They’ve unveiled a preview for the first episode of the show called ‘Snare’. In this episode, Rose and the Doctor find themselves embarking on a fresh journey after Kevin, Rose’s neighbor, asks them for assistance.
In the leaked audio clip shared online, it appears that Rose’s mother, Jackie (played by Camille Coduri), is drawn into some otherworldly endeavor. This leaves Rose anxious about Jackie’s wellbeing and concerned that their time-traveling escapades might spoil a peaceful movie night together.

The collection encompasses twelve fresh tales, each taking place during the TV show’s timeline specifically between the occurrences depicted in ‘Father’s Day’ and ‘The Empty Child’.
‘Snare’ is written by Tim Foley, who said Ninth and Rose are “incredibly special” to him.
No matter where on Earth you might be, you’ve likely caught wind of my jubilant yells when I was invited to contribute to this exciting new series. Here I am, thrilled and ready to share the stories!
“It’s great to kick things off with ‘Snare’, a character-driven opener back on the Powell Estate.

Moving forward from ‘Father’s Day’, we find the family’s turbulent events still causing waves in their lives.
You’ll get acquainted with one of Rose’s long-time pals, Kevin, who will reveal the concealed mysteries in his father’s ancient apartment. Additionally, you’ll sample Jackie Tyler’s culinary skills, so brace yourself.
In an astonishing turn of events, Piper is back in the Whoniverse following a remarkable regeneration surprise.
During his departure from the series following a two-year stint playing the Doctor, it appeared as if the lead actor from “I Hate Suzie,” Ncuti Gatwa, was set to step into the role in the traditional regeneration scene.
