Hollywood star who has been calling America home for the last 19 years emerges in Sydney – as the heartbreaking reason for her relocation is revealed
An actor who once graced the screens on Home and Away and relocated to America over 20 years ago, has recently been seen again in Australia – and it appears that she’s settled here permanently.
As a devoted follower, I myself was spotted in Sydney on a recent Wednesday afternoon, walking alongside my two lovely daughters – 11-year-old Phoenix and 6-year-old Lennon. Much like Tammin Sursok, I too shared the limelight on a Channel Seven soap opera from 2000 to 2004. My husband Sean McEwen was also there, though he might not have been as noticeable as our adorable offspring!
The 41-year-old actress, set to return home the following year, glowed in a long-sleeve denim jumpsuit, teamed with shiny leather loafers and unmatched socks, while enjoying time at Manly Beach, situated on Sydney’s North Coast.
She accessorized her outfit with a coordinating denim tote bag from Sportsgirl, added final touches with black-rimmed sunglasses, a bold coat of red nail paint, and delicate gold jewelry.
I, absolutely smitten by her charm, took great notice of how she effortlessly sported cascading, loose waves that seemed to dance with every gentle move she made. To complete the look, she chose a subtle, soft-hued makeup palette, accentuating her natural beauty with a delicate nude lip.

It seemed like Tammin was thoroughly enjoying herself as she played alongside her two little girls at the playground by the sea.
In a fun-filled moment, the threesome were seen playing with the gear, as the actress from Pretty Little Liars was spotted giggling on a seesaw alongside Lennon.
Later on, Tammin was spotted engaging in an unplanned photo session, casually posing next to a pine tree as she showcased her $40 handbag.
She made certain that she captured the perfect image by examining every photo and providing guidance to the photographer on her optimal posing positions.
Only a few hours following their afternoon at the park with their kids, the family was spotted organizing the unveiling of a new Play-Doh and Barbie Fashion Set.
The Sursok group looked delightful, mingling amiably with Jasmine Stefanovic at the Langham Afternoon Tea event in Sydney.
However, although Tammin seems to maintain a strong facade and engrosses herself in work, her mother, Julie, might have disclosed the emotional cause for the actress’s recent return to Australia.
It appears that Daily Mail Australia has learned that the soap opera actress and her family are planning to return to Australia in January 2026, in order to devote more time to her aging parents, Julie and Daryl.

At present, Tammin is in Sydney to manage work arrangements and ensure her daughters’ education is set before they move to a new location.
According to her mother’s social media, Daryl is currently battling Alzheimer’s disease.
In March, the matriarch from the Sursok family disclosed the news by posting a video compilation on her Instagram page.
In the video, numerous images were shown of Julie and Daryl, who have been a couple for quite some time, snuggling and enjoying themselves. These moments spanned over the years.
Julie, being a renowned writer, titled the video with encouraging sentiments regarding the upcoming challenges.
Clinging to these recollections. Although a tough fight lies before us, we are resilient and optimistic. All will turn out well,” she penned down.
As a devoted follower of health-related matters, I can share that Alzheimer’s disease is often the primary culprit behind dementia. One of its earliest signs is a progressive decline in memory function, as confirmed by the esteemed Mayo Clinic.
As a critical stage progresses, impaired brain function may lead to insufficient water intake and improper nutrition, potentially escalating to fatal consequences in severe cases.
Alzheimer’s disease starts when there’s an accumulation of protein deposits, specifically amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, within the brain tissue.
Over time, brain cells begin to die and the organ shrinks.
Although a complete cure isn’t currently possible, medications exist that can alleviate symptoms, enhance cognitive functioning, and delay the progression of mental deterioration.
