The real BBC rich list From Stacey Solomon to Richard Osman and Rylan Clark – the stars earnings the corporation don’t publish
This week, it emerged that Gary Lineker and Zoe Ball once more lead the BBC’s wealth ranking for this year, with their substantial earnings disclosed publicly.
In the 2024/25 BBC annual report, it was revealed that the sports personality earned a salary of £1.35 million, making him the highest-paid star for the previous year. Among the corporation‘s employees, Zoe was the highest-paid woman with a salary of £519,000, even though she only worked part-time.
It seems that, contrary to expectations, they may not be the wealthiest figures within the corporation since some well-known individuals didn’t appear in the report.
It was not necessary for BBC Studios to disclose the salaries of talent like Stacey Solomon, Rylan Clark, and Claudia Winkleman, as they are not required to publicly reveal the wages of their own employees.
An examination of numerous presenters’ registration documents for their companies at Companies House can provide an approximation of the income for some popular personalities.
So who really is topping the BBC hidden rich list?

Stacey Solomon – £7.3million
Last April, it was disclosed that Stacey’s net worth had soared to an astonishing £7.3 million, following a significant boost in her wealth the previous year, as reported by TopMob.
Born and raised in Dagenham, this popular TV personality, aged 35, who hosts BBC show Sort Your Life Out, significantly increased her income from £1.4 million in 2023 to a staggering £3 million the next year. Notably, the former X Factor finalist’s company, Key Map Entertainment, now holds an estimated value exceeding £7 million.
Stacey, a mother of five, accumulated some of her fortune by landing a deal for a reality show on the BBC, which chronicles her life with her spouse, Joe Swash, a former EastEnders actor aged 43, and their kids.
Previously, this well-known vocalist amassed her wealth through several ventures. These included leading fashion lines for women and children at retail titan Primark, creating home decor collections at supermarket Asda, and securing profitable social media partnerships with brands such as Jet2 and In The Style.

Richard Osman – £3,702,23
He was best known for co-hosting Pointless and has since gone on to host House Of Games.
As a dedicated devotee, I can’t help but share the incredible financial growth of my beloved Six Seven Entertainment! In 2025, our retained earnings skyrocketed to an astounding £3,702,23 – that’s more than double the £1,904,477 we held in 2024. The mastermind behind this success is none other than Richard, our visionary director at 54 years young!
2021 was a fantastic year for the ex-host of Pointless, culminating in the announcement that his show would be reimagined on Netflix, featuring acting legends like Dame Helen Mirren, Celia Imrie, Pierce Brosnan, and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Louis Theroux – £2,883,786
Last year, Louis’ business, Blobfish Limited, reported a total income of approximately £2,883,786, marking an increase of nearly £1 million in earnings compared to the previous year (2022).
For nearly 26 years, he’s been a modest interviewer for the BBC. However, it appears that he is now transitioning away from his role with the national broadcasting corporation.
Following two sets of Louis Theroux Interview episodes, The Sun announced earlier in the year that Louis has no plans to produce additional series soon. Instead, he’ll be focusing his efforts on collaborating with Netflix.

Graham Norton – £2,774,145
For the past 18 years, this Irish celebrity has hosted his weekly BBC talk program on Friday evenings. Last year, he inked a contract with ITV, estimated at approximately £1 million, to revamp the classic game show Wheel of Fortune and serve as its host.
In 2012, ITV acquired his previous production company, So Television, in a deal that could have been valued at approximately £17 million. Last year, he received a £2.7 million salary from this same company.

Michael McIntyre – £1,753,861
This year, it was revealed that the BBC managed to secure additional installments for both Michael McIntyre’s game show, “The Wheel,” and his variety program, “The Big Show.
His own production firm, Hungry McBear, with TV producer pal Dan Baldwin worth £1,753,861 in 2023.

Claudia Winkleman – £1,575,279
Claudia’s company Little Owl Production shows a total equity of £1,575,279 for the 2024 accounts.
The presenter, who happens to be a beloved figure on this channel, is experiencing even more popularity as The Traitors program achieves greater and greater success.
As a committed devotee reporting, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve signed a £1 million contract to keep producing the beloved show, and on top of that, I bring home approximately £600,000 annually for my hosting role alongside Tess Daly on Strictly Come Dancing.

Rylan Clark – £1,447,866
Rylan’s Limited companies house shows he made £1,447,866 according to last year’s accounts.
As a devoted fan, I’ve come to recognize him as a familiar face, a household name indeed. Though his journey to stardom began on the X Factor, today he stands firmly grounded within the prestigious ranks of the BBC.
I’m absolutely thrilled to be a devoted admirer, bragging about the fact that I’ve got a front-row seat to the brilliance of the one and only host who graces Radio 2 with his presence. And let me tell you, this year, he outdid himself! He scooped up a prestigious Bafta TV award for his Grand Tour travel show, teaming up with Rob Rinder. Quite frankly, I can’t get enough of their adventures!

This year, the BBC has faced numerous challenges, and several notable figures like Wynne Evans and more recently Gregg Wallace and John Torode have decided to leave the organization.
Wynne Evans – £734,830
In January, Wynne was dismissed from the BBC due to a contentious remark made during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour. However, it was revealed that he earned an impressive £734,830 in the year 2024 according to his personal financial records.
Following the cancellation of his BBC Wales program, Wynne revealed plans for a fresh radio broadcast, which he later affirmed will be recorded at The Welsh House.
Following the BBC’s examination of his behavior, it was determined that they would not extend his radio agreement for his program.
Consequently, it became known that the travelogue series he did with Joanna Page had been terminated following its first run.
The show first aired back in February and March of this year, but got postponed when Wynne was removed from the Strictly tour. It later resumed its broadcast.

Gregg Wallace – £24,830
Documents show Gregg’s company Lobster Enterprises made £24,830 as of February this year.
It’s reported that Gregg has been secretly developing a ‘survival strategy,’ as he continues to work hard due to being sidelined since the previous year, stemming from various accusations concerning his unsuitable conduct on the MasterChef set.
This week’s findings supported 45 out of the 83 accusations against him, and the BBC made it clear that they would not be collaborating with him in the future.

John Torode – £47,351
As John’s company, Caspar 10 Ltd, ends up at the bottom of the list, it reports account figures amounting to £47,351 for the year 2025.
The BBC also sacked John for ‘using an extremely offensive racist term’.
The 59-year-old Australian chef was removed from the culinary contest following a broadcast statement on Tuesday afternoon, as a probe led by Gregg Wallace uncovered evidence that John had previously utilized a highly derogatory racial slur, reportedly in a post-filming social setting.
On Tuesday night, John shared on Instagram that he couldn’t remember the occurrence and didn’t think it actually took place.
