Gwyneth Paltrow’s secret crush on British heartthrob while dating Brad Pitt exposed in bombshell new biography

A new biography claims that while Gwyneth Paltrow was involved with Brad Pitt, she also had feelings for a well-known British actor.

The eye-opening disclosure emerges from the biography of Gwyneth, titled “Gwyneth: The Biography” by Amy Odell, offering a glimpse into the most intimate aspects of the Academy Award recipient’s life.

During the filming of Emma in 1996, it’s said that Paltrow shared with a team member her doubts about Pitt and openly admitted to having a crush on Hugh Grant, as reported by quotes from People magazine.

During that period, they were considered Hollywood’s golden pair, but her admission came as a surprise, given their high-profile relationship.

Despite the notoriety surrounding Grant’s scandalous encounter with a sex worker in 1995, he continued his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley at that time.

Or: In 1995, when a scandal involving a sex worker made headlines, Hugh Grant was nevertheless in a relationship with Elizabeth Hurley.

These options maintain the original meaning while making the language more conversational and easy to understand.

Following Emma’s release, Gwyneth often shared her feelings with her intimate friend and makeup artist, Kevyn Aucoin, repeatedly weeping about her strained relationship with Pitt, as reported by Odell.

Despite his desire to remain with her, reports suggest that Pitt found himself fading into her shadow due to her achievements and the intense limelight she drew.

Aucoin spoke candidly; his guidance was straightforward and apparently told Paltrow, “It’s time for you to call it quits.

Gwyneth and Brad never publicly explained the exact reason for their 1997 breakup.

Yet, some reports suggested a possible connection between the incident and the rumored romance between Odell and John Hannah, who co-starred with Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors.

In a 2015 conversation with Howard Stern, she openly acknowledged, ‘I wasn’t quite prepared, and he was simply too exceptional for someone like me.’

Shortly after, she began dating Ben Affleck in late 1997.

Their rocky relationship, per Odell, lasted until around 2000 amid intense media attention.

In the year 2002, she encountered love with Chris Martin from Coldplay, subsequently getting married and welcoming two kids into her life. Their separation in 2014 was a harmonious one, often referred to as ‘conscious uncoupling’.

Despite the split, Gwyneth and Chris continued to foster a cooperative parenting bond, focusing on their children Apple (age 21) and Moses (age 19).

Since 2015, she has been in a steady relationship with TV producer Brad Falchuk.

The couple married in 2018, marking a new chapter in her love life.

Right now, Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to acting, sharing the screen with Timothée Chalamet in the movie “Marty Supreme.” The premiere is scheduled for Christmas Day, December 25th.
