Pip Edwards is openly enjoying her newfound liberation in Italy, savoring her initial days free from sole parenting responsibilities, following her teenager’s departure for university in the United States, as she indulges in drinks.

Kick off the holidays, Pip labeled a set of playful selfies she posted on her Stories on Wednesday.

The creative director of Ksubi, who is 45 years old, confidently showcased her toned physique in a see-through pink maxi dress, paired with nude underwear positioned above her waist, revealing the brand’s logo, while strolling around Rome.

Pip chose an attention-grabbing outfit, combining a sleek $140 Venroy low-rise skirt with a cropped $350 Clea fringe top, which showcased her toned stomach area.

In sweltering heat (35°C) of Rome, P.E Nation’s co-founder and two companions sought respite at Bar San Calisto in pursuit of cool drinks.

I polished off my striking ensemble with a sparkling pair of Miu Miu embellished ballet shoes, complemented by a casual yet chic Loewe slouch bag.

For the special event, she decided not to keep her hair in its usual bun and instead allowed it to flow freely, adapting to the relaxed, wavy style inspired by the natural humidity of the European summer.

Bar San Calisto has a reputation for affordable beverages and a loyal patronage made up of various groups such as artists, long-time residents of Rome, university students, and travelers.

The break from everyday life for the popular Sydney resident begins three days following her emotional goodbye to her 18-year-old son, Justice, in San Francisco, California.

In a heartfelt farewell message, Pip wrote, ‘There are so many memories to recount! You’ve been with me since the day you entered our world 18 years ago, and now I’m preparing to part ways with you here in San Francisco.’

In my role as an overjoyed parent, I lay strong foundations for my little one, rooted in family love, and core values – creating a firm base for them to stand tall. Yet, I also grant them the freedom to spread their wings, feeling the breeze beneath them, empowering them to explore life’s skies on their own terms, finding their unique paths as they soar. This captures the essence of the sentiments she shared alongside cherished moments spent with her son.

Pip shared a collection of recent photos of her teenager as she wished him well. 

Justice, there’s a profound, unseen bond between us – a connection so strong it feels like an emotional umbilical cord, rooted in deep, authentic affection that spans the course of our lives,” she explained further.

‘You have brought so much joy to me and everyone around you and to whoever meets you.

In a recent conversation with Body & Soul, she shared how her life feels revitalized since her son moved out on his own.

‘I’m proud I’ve managed to facilitate my dreams and his dreams at the same time,” she said.

I’ve put in a tremendous amount of effort, persistence, determination, vitality, and enthusiasm. To keep going, I’ve had to yield on certain things, but now, thankfully, I no longer need to make those compromises.
