Emmy nominations 2025: List of nominees

The countdown is almost over: The 2025 Emmy nominations will be announced this morning.

Harvey Guillén, known for his role as the lone human roommate in a vampire household on “What We Do in the Shadows” from FX, and Brenda Song, star of “Running Point” and an actual sports enthusiast, will be present to announce the nominations at the Television Academy’s Wolf Theatre. The live stream of the nominations begins at 8:30 a.m. PT on the Television Academy’s website and social media platforms.

Can’t wait to find out which shows are nominated for talk series and reality competition program awards! I’ll be tuning into ‘CBS Mornings’ at 4:47 a.m. PT to catch the live announcement.

Some of the highly anticipated new shows that might get nominated are HBO’s medical drama “The Pitt,” Apple TV+’s comedic take on Hollywood titled “The Studio,” and Netflix’s crime series “Adolescence.” Previous winners that could receive Emmy recognition again include “Severance,” “The White Lotus,” “Hacks,” “The Bear” and “Abbott Elementary.

This year, the 77th Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on September 14 at 5 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on CBS, and it can also be streamed on Paramount+. Meanwhile, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which recognize both artistic, technical achievements, as well as certain performance categories, will happen on September 6 and 7. These events will later be edited for airing on FXX on September 13.
